National is probably the best customer service in comparison to the rest of the rental companies I’ve used by far. Every location from the Caribbean to the major cities in the US proper theyAre always great.

I always look forward to the Rental car facility for Chicago Midway. The staff are always sweet, my favorites are Al and Robin. I also look forward to the shuttle drivers, who are more often than not in a great mood. Cars are always clean and updated. The only downside is Midway kind of sucks. Thanks to everybody that works here and makes traveling a little more enjoyable!

I have been an Emerald Club member since my 20s. While I don't rack up the rewards like I once did, it still nice to have, and comes in handy at busy airports. The car we got recently was great.

We had an AMAZING experience! Yes, we got a great car that we picked from on the row of 20 cars (pretty sweet), but the difference maker was Robin! She was absolutely amazing. She was fun, bubbly, kind and just wanted us to have a great time and experience. We were joking that she needed a raise, but I am serious. Manager, give her a raise! She is making National Rental Car at Midway a success. Great job Robin!

Used the Emerald Executive service and had a great choice of cars and small SUVs to choose from, check-out was a bit slow for Thursday lunch.Monday return was smooth as usual and receipt emailed to me promptly.Will continue to use National whenever I need a rental car.

Exceptional process, no long lines or wait time. Took elevator to 2nd floor, variety of vehicles to chose from, ready with keys inside, put my luggage in car and drove to check out booth, took less than 5 minutes. Return process, quick and easy- direction signs for return vehicle clear and simple direction. They also have an attendant booth who directed me where to return vehicle. Upon return, attendants guided me where to park, asked about my experience with the vehicle, asked how I wanted to receive my receipt, thanked me for choosing National Rental Car, and directed me where to go to board free shuttle to airport. The staff that I interacted with at Midway National car rental was professional, super nice, good at their job and cared. I appreciate your service and your staff.

I like the ability to rent from my app or online. It has been consistently easy to rent a car from National. Rates are consistently in line and even lower on many occasions. Easy in and Easy out with the Emerald Aisle!

There was no Emerald Aisle at this location. This is the first time I booked National Emerald Aisle and I had read through what is it about and saw many posted about the benefit of paying Emerald Aisle, unfortunately when I arrived at MDW location, the ONLY vehicle I was offered was Toyota Corolla, where as whoever come after me and knowing that they also booked Emerald Aisle, they were offered more options. I had asked the associate and she told me that's the only vehicle they have. Upon taking the only car they have for me, I have to go through check out, the lady at the booth had to re-verified my information etc... and she was not able to locate my booking and it took her over 10 min to go back and forward to check on my booking.... I would not come to this location for rental any more.

Reserved for Labor Day weekend months in advance and upon my arrival I ended up waiting almost an hour for a car to be returned or brought over from another lot for me to use. I had to put my name on a list and wait in a line behind other rental customers. I am executive elite status due to constant travel and usually walk straight to a car and go. Tried calling customer support and they were unable to help in any way. I ended up being late to an appointment due to waiting. I will definitely be looking at using a different company for future rentals.

Great experience on my first time renting with National. Got of the elevator and was greeted by a rep almost instantly that pointed me to the area of cars I could choose from. They had a good variety of cars to choose from. Checkout was nice and easy as well. Kim did a great job!

I loved my experience with John “JT” Thompson recently. I flew in to see my new grandson, and he hooked me up with a dodge charger- super fun, clean and fast car. Thank you so much JT for being so kinda to this young GiGI.

After receiving many referrals to use National Car Rental for my first trip alone for a destination wedding I was in, I was extremely disappointed in the service actually received by National Car Rental. I signed up and agreed to become an Emerald Member for my selection of the reputable "Emerald Aisle" through them and received an estimated invoice for my reservations. I felt extremely satisfied through their reservation process and enlightened to know that there would be NO extra, hidden, or added fees after the return of my rental. (Keeping in mind there would most likely be a slight difference between the reservation receipt and the actual invoice receipt.) But much to my dismay, there were extra charges added to the invoice after all. Now I made my reservations in sync with my flight arrival and departure times. I picked the vehicle up and returned it in less time than I reserved for, but then I got charged for an EXTRA DAY. Also, I waived the gas charges and implemented filling the tank prior to return. Guess what! I was charged for a SECOND FULL tank of gas in my final invoice. NOW--I had the vehicle from Thursday morning through Sunday morning, I drove a TOTAL of 47 miles--in 4 days. The vehicle was used to get me to and from the airport ONLY. It was returned with a full tank of gas. But I still got charged for a tank of gas and an extra day I did not receive. BEWARE before trusting National Car Rental. As this was my first and only experience with them, it will most likely be my very last also.

The process was quick and streamlined with excellent service. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Albert was quick and efficient.Thank you for an excellent experience. I didn't especially care for the Nissan Rogue, the stop start feature though fuel efficient was jerky and it idled somewhat rough.

Efficient check-in / checkout. Nolan greeted us upon return & was friendly and courteous. My husband forgot his phone in the rental and he realized it after we were on the shuttle to MDW. Shuttle driver drove him back to rental center and another employee drove him in a car back to airport so he could catch our flight. Excellent service!

National Car Rental's marketing team is clueless They don't seem to know that they represent the most customer friendly, efficient car rental service in the country. And, the next best company, is not even close. Took me way too long to learn this. Just join the Emerald Club, and select your car with no waiting. No cost to join and life gets better. One saves lots of frustrating time waiting to pick up and there is ALWAYS someone to greet you when you check in. Their buses from the airports run frequently and, five minutes after the bus drops you off, you are driving away in your car. A well-oiled machine, even if they have no idea how important their caring service is.
