“Picked up this Adenia Glauca from Sunnyside! They have a great collection houseplants, cacti and succulents. One of the best plant shops in the city if you’re looking for something unique. They also have a huge selection of pots, soil, soil amenities, insecticides, and pretty much anything you’ll need for growing at home. Ann & Tim are kind, knowledgeable, and supportive! Primrose Chicago is, hands down, one of the best florists we've ever used. Unlike other places that failed to deliver on time, Primrose Chicago was incredibly helpful. We needed to change a delivery date last minute, and they were super accommodating, ensuring the flowers were delivered perfectly. They even called the our friend who was getting the flowers to confirm, which no other shop has done!”

“Hidden neighborhood gem. Whenever we swing by for anything garden related (Christmas trees also), there's just good vibe... And it all starts from the top with Adam and Tony down to all their very friendly and knowledgeable associates. Good people, great products at a fair price. I have not gone back to big box stores for any greenery needs since discovering Adams & Sons (& Daughter - although we have not had the pleasure of meeting her yet). We will be back again.”

“I have a friend who is a passionate gardener as myself, so when her special 'milestone' birthday came along, I wanted to send her something she could eventually plant in her yard rather than a floral bouquet. I chose a pink azalea. Though I live in the western suburbs, I wanted to find a florist in her Jefferson Park neighborhood. I chose Wall's Flower Shop on Higgins but the website was redirected to Donna's Garden Flower Shop near Pulaski & Peterson. I spoke to Avi on the phone and he was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. This floral shop was extremely conscientious about delivering this fragile plant in the midst of our cold January weather. They called my friend and made sure she was home to receive it. She was extremely excited and thrilled to receive her gorgeous plant full of pretty pink buds. I will definitely recommend Wall's Flower Shop/Donna's Garden Flower Shop to all my Chicago friends!”

“Business as usual, there welcoming, friendly and helpful. It ok when you coming to buy small stuff but it when you buying stove and dryer the big stuff that when you have problems they mounted the stove to close to window melt the blinds I was told fire it hazardous, call try to get the worker to remove it from being so close to they said no, now we buy a dryer from here the worker put sliver or duck tape on everything I don’t him to use clips he refuse then use that duck tapes on everything few day later all that mess came a loose call the store try get somebody help I got hang up the girl on the phone didn’t know nothing I had to go store buy a clip and paid a family hood the dryer up right. I paid for insurance not work out with Home Depot.”

“I remodeled my basement a few years ago, and my contractor and I bought everything at the Elston Ave. Home Depot. A few weeks ago, I wanted to buy a back door. I called Home Depot several times, but the phone system is not good, and I couldn't get through to the department. I came in and spoke to someone, but she didn't give me the correct information. I came back the following day to speak to a manager. His name is Prince, and he is truly a Prince. He told me that I would have a discount on the door to make up for the poor customer service that I had experienced. He also gave me his cell number. Ultimately, they didn't have the door that I wanted, and I called and told him that I had found what I needed at Menard's. He told me that I could pick out some things to make up for the lack of customer service. I came in a few days later, and got a whole lot of cleaning supplies! He kept telling me to take more! I was a 78 year old kid in a candy store! Prince is truly a Prince, and a smart manager. I do hope that they can improve upon the phone system. However, I will keep coming back and ignore the poor phone service. The customer service is great! Thank you, Prince!”
“Needed some pvc poles for a mesh fence im making for my vegetable garden in back, found the poles they cut them in half for me and found the mesh for the fence and the ties all in one place. And while I was there got some more vegetable plants. Love my home depot.”
