Peoria Packing Butcher Shop is a huge and clean butcher shop with a great variety of meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and fish. The entire store is separated into two areas: a large meat section and a second area with some spices, herbs, vegetables, and other items. Customers get a basket and gloves upon entering to handle the fresh meat, which is all out in the open to peruse. The setup is straightforward, with helpful staff who can cut larger pieces to smaller sizes if requested. Prices are extremely reasonable, great, and fair, especially for unpackaged meats and ground beef. The shop is not too crowded in the early morning. A disclaimer is that it is very cold inside, so one should wear a warm coat. It is worth a drive and highly recommended as the place to go for fresh meat.

Love the new location much bigger and easy to move around than the smaller location and the variety and quality of meats and other various goods is excellent . 👍🏽
