I cashed my Facebook check at the PNC on Broadway & montrose about a week ago. I failed to sign the check and the check went thru. I also activated my new debit card that day. The short..latin..husky man teller asked if I wanted to shred old card and I left with him. I went the next day to sign check and they said it already was processed.. I said how? Without signature? I called customer service and man on phone said I used a stamp. No I didn't. Haven't seen that teller since.

I’d it give a slightly higher rating based on my own customer service experience, but how they’ve been giving my boyfriend the ring around all of this month is unacceptable. They closed his account without much warning, collection’s customer service hung up on him 3 times then proceeded to have a nasty attitude with him once they did answer, & today he found out the supposed appointment they scheduled for him to fix his account never was set, somehow. This branch specifically (unsure about the others) insists that you should schedule an appointment in advance to do anything due to staff shortage. While I fully sympathize, there needs to be some form of organization. You literally lost a customer today due to fumbling this hard for no reason. What should’ve been an easy 1 hour fix today has now been turned into “come back next week” situation, according to staff. Not sure where to criticize the collection agency that PNC works with or w/e but they also need to get their act together.EDIT 10/30/23: they managed to fix his account with little to no issue in person. Still a little bumpy but we’re taking it one step at a time!

Terrible Customer Service... I called to let them know I was going to open an account. I told Eduardo that I was going to be there between 3-3:30pm. He said ok the I'll put you down for 3:30pm. I said ok but on my way he said ok. So I got there at 3pm and some rude white chick, said we can't helped you cause your appointment is at 3:30pm. How rude and unprofessional this is. How does PNC DO BUISNESS WITH SUCH A BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM.

This has to be the worst bank in the city not the branch itself just the name PNC Bank! I had a discrepancy back in June, they told me in order to get my money back I would have to wait 90 days no other bank does that they give you back the cash and then they do their investigation and then they determine if you're able to keep the money or not. This bank had me waiting three and a half months to get my money back, I finally closed the account today!PNC BANK is so not worth it! I wouldn't recommend anybody to use this bank!

I just had one of the worst experience ever with this branch. And this is second time this is happening with the same branch, only today is worst. I use my international credit card there all the time. Every time these people are working on the atms there is no notice, no sign, no warning, nothing. The first time I fell victim of this, the atm literally shut down mid-transaction then someone comes out the branch to say sorry we are working on the atms, give it a minute. ATMs turned back on, money won't come out after the Atm already charged me the international transaction fee and these people proceeded to tell me They couldn't do anything about it. Same thing just happened again, 5 people standing behind me, no sign no notice nothing that says the atms are being worked on. Everything shuts down right when the machine would dispense my cash, only for the branch supervisor to come out and say sorry it's been worked on. Worst, she can't help me, but takes my number. The manager calls me only to tell me I would need to take it up the credit card bank to file a dispute (which by the way will take weeks to process it) and then he goes telling me it would take 90 days for his branch to do anything about my problem. These people have no accountability and show no professionalism. Worst experience ever with a bank.

It has been more than 5 years now at this location, the storefront had been empty a long time, Uptown residents were so happy to have the PNC branch come in, the young people who have worked there over those years have been wonderful! We love having them love the convenience of this location to home. Hats off to the current staff there too!!

I used to have an account with PNC last year for a small business I own. I closed the account to work with a property management company but needed research done for my tax returns. Imran at the branch was so helpful! I really appreciate his help doing research on my account. I now use PNC as my personal bank.

I feel this branch manager does racially profile and is bias. If you have a check that may be a larger amount than what you have in your account they will put a hold on your account even IF THE CHECK CLEARED!! How is that acceptable business practices?? If a asinine manager makes you feel some kind of way close your account! You are keeping them employed! Close your account and go to Huntington bank which is a block away from here. Pathetic location.

Worst PnC in Chicago! The ladies are really nice but this one Guy I sat down and spoke to personally made me want to throw up in my mouth. He kept attacking me on my personal choice of spending after stalking my personal checking statement! He kept trying to justify why I was getting over charged by PNC. Now I keep $1 in the account and no transactions at all!

I was two minutes late and had to make a mortgage payment. Thankfully, the kind people here let me in, so I didn't miss the due date. They had no obligation to do this at the end of their work day, so I appreciate it very much.
