The worst storage experience: No elevator, no restrooms, no service.
As a U-Haul at 3250 N. Kedzie Ave. Chicago,
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of maintenance. For the second time in two weeks, the elevator is out of service, making it impossible for me to access my belongings on the second floor. I have a health condition (arthritis) that makes using the stairs impossible.
To make matters worse, both the men's and women's restrooms are also out of service. It's unacceptable for a company this big to neglect its facilities this way. I am paying for a service that I am not receiving. It seems weekends are not a priority for this location, which is exactly when customers need access the most.
It's frustrating that U-Haul won't invest in proper maintenance. First, it was just the elevator, but now the restrooms are also broken. This location is getting worse by the day.

Jennifer S. was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had interacting with anyone from a moving service. What should have been a 5 min interaction of getting a key and going about our days turned into a 15 min interaction that included her arguing with us about the app reservation (which did not work the way she thought it did), swearing behind the counter (which I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt was not at me or my partner), and being overall dismissive about the issue. She’s also aware of her behavior because when asked about her name she gave a shorted version “Jen” so it would be harder to identify her. Thankfully I heard her pick up the phone and state her full name prior to me asking. Overall the lack of professionalism was staggering and coming to place this review I can tell it’s not Jennifer’s first terrible interaction with a client. In my opinion, this person does not belong in a customer service setting with the attitude she presents to clients, she is single-handedly lowering your rating.

TRUCKERS DO NOT GO HERE ITS A TOTAL MESS! YOU HAVE A big chance to hit cars or get towed, you will definitely scrape your trailer bumper plus huge ris to tear tires plus all low bridges around in the area google view says 13.8 actuall new signs says 13.2
I have been trucking since 2007 and NYC is my specialty, but this place sucks big time!!!!

Jessica/Jennifer S at the checkout was obnoxious. I was 20 minutes late for my rental, after waiting about 10 minutes in line she make sure to point out that I was late and told me that I might not have a truck. I added insurance on the app but changed my mind, the app sucks and I couldn’t edit my reservation to remove it. Asking Jessica/Jennifer to change it was apparently more than she should tolerate, she proceeded to roll her eyes and shake her head at me. When I called her out she went on to argue and tell me I was late and asked her coworker if she was rude. Wouldn’t drop it until told to by what I assume was a manager.
Opposite experience in the lot Issac S was professional and helpful, didn’t have to ask him to do anything he just offered and stepped up and pointed me to the truck.

Talk about excellent service.
We got a lovely lady named Wanda who was magnificent with coordinating our needs. The team here is kind, knowledgeable, and overall rock stars. They communicated effectively and helped us every step of the way on our big move day.
Would recommend anyone in the area with moving needs consider coming here for services.

They were able to fix the hitch that another uhaul location put on incorrectly. Would recommend this location for hitch installations.

Did the short, tattoo-less employee almost cause a car accidentally & then flick me off?
Was bringing my truck back, turning right into the ramp up, and she turned left from the other direction, almost caused an accident - I honked, obviously - and they flicked me off
Ignore the fact I'd been stuck there for 6-8 minutes waiting for semi trucks to make a path for me to get up there. Woman shows up & acts a fool
Barely avoided getting my truck inspected my them - thank god
Everyone else was a saint. But don't drive stupid & act stupid because you might be getting back to work late at 1:08 on Tuesday, July 8th

Drop my car off for a 2-hour window hitch install at 10:00 a.m.
Car was returned at 4:30 p.m.
Several days later I noticed about $3 in quarters were missing from my center console.
I called the store and they said their investigation was asking the installer if he did it and he said he didn't. What is this second grade?
No one else had my car within this period of time. I even had it in valet mode to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere off the premises.
Now I have to search the rest of my car to make sure nothing else went missing.
The two stars is because the hitch appears to be attached to the car properly. I cannot be sure.

We have loaded our U-boxes for long distance moving. Daniel (fork lift driver) at Uhaul went above and beyond to make the process smooth and made sure our boxes were well taken care of. We have also rented vehicles several times and they are in better condition than other locations.

My rental experience could not have been easier. Ordered online, picked up through the app, and dropped off easily. No hassle at all! If I ever need a truck again or know of a friend needing one this would be the first and only place I send them.

Very smooth and easy pick up and drop off. I rented a truck to move from Cleveland, OH to Chicago, IL and the total cost was WAYY less than i was expecting. Fantastic customer service
