Worst company of all time. False advertising as to how much uboxes can hold. Customer service line basically doesn't exist. Was on hold for over an hour before I was able to connect with a live agent who told me she has no way to help. The company doesn't even pretend to care. Ubox arrived several hours late on the other side of the move- by the time the movers had already left. Would never recommend this company

I booked and paid for a truck a week in advance of my move. The day before my move, they told me I needed to go to Gary Indiana to pick up my truck (an hour away). they offered a $50 discount, which is a joke. Don’t recommend.

I checked in early online. No one was here when I showed up, despite being during "open hours." It took me about 40 minutes to get in touch with U-Haul support and another full hour to get access to the van.

I went to the mobile pickup location in West Loop, but that location is not listed on Yelp, so here is my review: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRY THE MOBILE PICKUP OPTION FROM U-HAUL. I thought this would be an easy way to pick up a couch after work (7pm) when all the regular locations were closed. I was SO wrong. Here is a list of my complaints: 1. The app is terrible. It crashed every other second and basically made using it impossible. It would not let me enter my own phone number to pickup the truck and I had to use a random phone number (still unclear why that happened). 2. I had to call customer service about 3 times to get approved and get everything sorted before I could have access to the lockbox code. 3. Customer service wait time is about 20 minutes EVERY TIME I called. I arrived 15 min before my reservation was supposed to start, and this still caused delays. 4. They switched my reservation to a 10' truck when I requested a 9' cargo van. There were two cargo vans in the lot as well, so it is unclear why I was switched to the truck. Again, customer service really had nothing to say about that - when I called they said it was an error within the app and I actually had the van, but the keys I was given were for the truck. At this point it is over a half hour after my reservation started before I even got in the truck, so I just drove it (due to more wait time from customer service). I hate this company so much. I used to use other carshare services and NEVER had any issues like this before. Maybe this would have been better if there was an actual person, but U-haul needs to consider hiring a lot more customer service reps and some better app designers.
