It's perfectly fine.
I mostly just use the self-service kiosk to generate shipping labels and drop it off with the staff at the desk. Always much cheaper than private couriers. Support the USPS so it doesn't get privatized!

I have received exceptional service at the Sheffield/DePaul USPS office, especially when sending documents overseas. It's clear they are underfunded but the staff do their best.
