“Lovely lady that works here is great. Downside is, it's a single employee location. No, for real, a government facility with one person. If she's out sick, the place is closed without notice. She takes a late afternoon lunch, handwritten sign in Spanish (only???) so I'm not sure when she starts lunch and if her target return time is 3:30 or what. Would be nice if she posted a regularly closed lunch time so we don't waste our time coming here only to find the place closed. I still choose to go to this location over my local pit of misery post office (California Ave), it's worth the no 40 minute wait and service with a smile, when it's open...”

“Very courteous staff- today, I had to send a certified letter and needed to fill out some forms. But I had gone to the eye doctor just before, my eyes were dilated and could not write at all. The very polite employee filled out all forms for me with a big smile. Excellent service ! Thank you so much.”

“I want to give credit to the postal workers here. They are always polite and truly focus on whoever is at the counter. Yes, the lines can get long sometimes, but that’s only because they take the time to actually help the person in front of them. Even when people ask some pretty senseless questions, the staff stays completely professional and doesn't lose their cool.
I’ve also noticed there aren't any Spanish-speaking workers at the counter, but there are always Spanish-speaking people waiting in line who can translate. It’s a shame that when there's an obvious miscommunication between a customer and the worker, rarely does anyone in line ever steps up or volunteers to help translate. Those who do help are always thanked by postal worker.
Honestly, over the years, I’ve noticed that the people who complain are usually just in a rush and shouldn't have waited until the last minute to come in. Whatever you're mailing might be important, but we all just need to have a little patience.”
“I am always stressed to the max when coming to the post office but my lovely new friend Cherie that works there was so calm and helpful. I had to repackage all of my things twice so I saw her interacting with a lot of people that came through and she is truly such a sweet and kind lady. Also very knowledgeable about her job. Will gladly drive out of the city to come to this post office again.”

“I come to ship my orders out here and never had a bad encounter with staff. They however work at their own space. Depending on the day the lines can go to the door and take over 15 minutes to finally get to the front. Putting time aside to make a trip here is key , and having patience is needed. Appreciate this place for serving the community anyways!”

“At noon on a Friday, no line & I was promptly helped by a cheerful & capable employee. Honestly, it was such a refreshing break (preceeded by going to 2 different locations and they were both out of money orders) that I fell in love with the place instantly.
Building has grandiose, old-school vibes. Also I just like knowing that there is a post office open til midnight, even if it's not right near me.”

“I ship a lot of packages (about 10 a month) and I always have a pleasant experience at this post office. In fact, I travel out of my way on the bus to get here (my closest USPS is in Uptown on Broadway, iykyk lol). The staff here is patient, kind, and competent, and provides excellent service consistently (in my experience). Since this is not my neighborhood, I don't have experience with mail delivery issues or anything like that, but I do know that mailing packages here is a PLEASURE compared to some other locations, with a much higher level of friendliness, successful package processing, and also shorter lines.”
“Last month I came by to receive my two packages and first off, why are the opening hours so inconvenient? But the lady behind the counter was nice enough and I did end up receiving my packages so it wasn't too bad.”
“Came in on a Monday around 5:30 pm before closing. Not a long line. I was just dropping off some packages. The lady at the desk was friendly and I was in and out in 10 minutes.”
“Busy during lunch hour. Big open space. I had a sale I need to ship and want to get a receipt so I waited on queue to get to a counter. When I got there she told me that I could use the kiosks for it. I didn’t know but glad to. I asked her what option to choose/use, she said “pre-packaged” something.”
“The clerks were friendly and did their best to work through the long line quickly. Bike parking just outside the entrance makes this an easy stop when running errands.”

“Parking can be a challenge at times since it’s located between resident homes. Best to use your hazard lights when parked in a non parking spot. The closer it gets to 3pm and closing time theres more traffic due to 2 schools being let out so be patient. The full time employee that works there is amazing. She’s very informative and is straight to the point. Treat her with respect and kindness & you’ll get treated the same.”
“I’ll be honest, not sure why this location (if accurate on prior reviews) has such a bad rap! This review is for the post office located on Irving Park and Narragansett, Chicago, Illinois. My personal experiences here have been positive. Just recently, I had to track down a package, and I was helped with outmost respect. Celeste was specially thorough and understanding with my situation! Thank you!”

“I went to this location about half an hour before closing on a Friday (I know ... it was the earliest I could get there) in order to send a package of documents internationally. I had reviewed the options online, but still wasn't sure what the best shipping option would be. The USPS worker who helped me was patient with my questions and informative in her explanation of the options; she explained clearly the delivery timelines for different methods and which offered signature on delivery (which I needed). I stepped aside to complete the necessary forms; because of the time of day, of course, several people passed through while I was there, and she was able to help everyone get through the line before closing. (There was one woman who came in and did try to skip the whole line and went straight to the counter while there was a customer being assisted, and the USPS worker -- rightly! -- told her she'd need to get in line like everyone else.) Post offices get a bad rap for service, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this location for help with any shipping in the future.”

“I had an issue with a large parcel that couldn't be delivered. I called and opened a ticket and believe it or not the Post Office actually responded. Two days later my parcel was delivered to the mailroom in my apartment building.
Total surprise!”

Never a problem. There is a post office not too far from this location that needs improvement but no issues with this location at all.”
