Switching pharmacies after it took over 45 to pick up my meds because you don’t have enough workers.

To be completely honest I have never had a good experience with Walgreens. From Alabama to Chicago request that should have been done were not, techs were rude and dismissive, and they never answer the phone but only pick up and put you back on hold without even checking on you. However, Clajuan a pharmacy tech at the Clark st. Location, did the complete opposite! He answered the phone quickly, greeting me with a smile even by phone! He went beyond the call of duty to assist me and even connected with me on a relative level and didn’t sound like a robot which I definitely appreciate!!
PS: I’ve notice since relocating to Chicago that the morning shift is way more chipper and willing to listen, without an attitude. They always do what they promise to do , even calling the customer back to update them. The night shift needs work on there customer service skills under pressure and for God sake follow through on their promises to the customers.

I was in this store today and everything was fine everyone was quite friendly but one person was very negative towards me. I asked him for help with the product but he didn't even pay attention to me and with a very rude face and voice replied that he doesn't do that. I noticed his name was Brandon. After I asked him again he just repeated what he said with the same attitude. No respect for customers! I hope he gets fired because reading the comments I'm not surprised that it's all the same person. The Store Manager needs to pay attention to this! I give it 3 out of 5 because I asked another employee and he helped me.

I literally just watched a mother with her child come in asking for a restroom with her child doing the pee dance the the young man Brandon was very rude the lady asked him where the restroom is he responded it’s out of order the lady then said okay is there a another place you all may go to to use the restroom that’s close by I’m not from around here at all, the man responded I go home and come back then another worker must of said something on her ear piece about the lady because then the man started laughing so the woman with her daughter turned around and saw a lady standing by that works there and asked him the same thing and both Brandon and Monica was very rude to that lady not professional at all! The woman did rush there baskets over but I don’t blame her after the bs they told her! I’m definitely getting my family’s meds switch back to the Walgreens in the Howard at plaza because this is not the first time I’ve see employees be rude it’s unbelievable now what if the poor girl could have had a accident now someone would’ve had to clean pee! How can you have a store open and don’t have a public restroom for your customers!! after seeing that I’m definitely getting ahold of corporate!!!

The pharmacy runs out of medication that's supposed to be in stock. There is one pharmacy technician that is super nice and friendly, but the others are rude and judgemental.

The pharmacy won't answer your calls any time of any day, they just hit the hold button every single time it rings through

Extremely racist and rude for just being white at the check out. This has happened multiple times at this same location. For my local walgreens i didn't think I would feel unsafe getting toilet paper. Extremely unprofessional and alarming to the community.

It’s either insufficient or incompetent staffing at this Walgreens. Takes forever to fill prescriptions, long lines to pickup—it’s unfortunate

The Walgreens at 7450 has its challenges...a constant stream of panhandlers outside, shoplifters, and a mixed clientele as this store services a mixed area of some of the best and the most challenging people in the city. Despite this, I had one of the best, most fun shopping experiences here yesterday. Phinesse was my lucky draw of a cashier. I won't type the crazy story of me buying candy I thought was on sale and how she and her incredible supervisor, Nelvin helped me, but they were gracious, friendly, personal, gave me the sale price, easily adjusted my receipt and took the time to make sure I'd had a happy experience at this store. It worked! These two work in a difficult environment and still had big smiles on their faces, gave me personal service and proved that a routine visit to some run-of-the-mill shopping, can catch you off guard! Walgreens is very lucky to have these two. Make sure if you stop by 7450 N Clark Street You tell them you read this review - these are nice people working hard to give customers a good experience!

The staff here is relatively professional and helpful. However, the pharmacy line is always unreasonably long and the pharmacy is clearly understaffed. If this wasn't the closest one to me I wouldn't go here. Expect to wait for 30 minutes to pick up prescriptions on a good day. Management: please schedule more staff and reduce waiting times!

Very helpful and patient Pharmacy staff, probably one of my favorite Walgreens' ever. They advocated for me when I was under care of a bad doctor. They probably helped save my life. Please treat your workers well and give them regular raises. They're under pressure that's not like before historically. Also, each Walgreens has the potential to be bad at answering the phone sometimes or more often. And Chaz, I hear your frustration: maybe you're not aware but there are four nursing homes nearby. There's a bus depot and a train station a few blocks away and four grocery stores about a mile from there. And also two major universities within a few miles away. There is no point of calling because it's probably one of the busiest hubs in the city. Please have some patience or you can go to another Walgreens, where, you still may have to be patient, but the lines aren't nearly as long. Plan better next time. Look at a map.Maybe Walgreens could open another location on the same block or a couple away. That would help a lot for everyone involved.
