About Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co
The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. is a historic business that has left its mark on the city of Chicago. The Wrigley Building, a skyscraper on N. Michigan Ave., was built between 1920-24 and is an elaborately designed structure with two towers connected by a covered bridge. The south tower features an embedded clock face and spire, making it a prominent landmark in the Chicago skyline. The Wrigley Building was the first skyscraper north of the river and was modeled after the Giralda in Seville, with its ornamental, neo-gothic style. It is actually two buildings of different heights, creating a unique angle that makes it highly photogenic along the Magnificent Mile. The company's products, such as the beloved Extra spearmint gum, have also gained widespread popularity. Customers appreciate the gum's long-lasting flavor and texture, though some have expressed a desire for the use of healthier sweeteners like xylitol or erythritol instead of aspartame. Overall, the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. has made significant contributions to the city of Chicago and continues to be a beloved brand.

This interesting building represents a man who did much for the city of Chicago. The clock tower is clearly visible from many areas along the river and Magnificent Mile. The architecture is great for the time period.

The Wrigley building is another Chicago iconic skyscraper, standing just across the street from Tribune tower. It's just aside the Dusable bridge, and Wendella boat tours depart beneath it. It belongs to the chewing gum magnate, built some 100 y ago. Plaza of the Americas is between the two buildings.

A great place to visit. Definitely have lunch in the cafeteria. It is reasonable price and an air of luxury.
