“I love this place! Every time I step foot in Sideshow Gallery, I get a wave a calm and good energy. I received a tarot reading today that was very informative and spot on! These folks are professionals in their craft. Don’t pass up the opportunity to come here!”
“I was searching for the perfect engagement ring and realized I had no idea what I was doing. Joe, his family and team at Rose Estate Jewelers made me feel like family when I walked into their showroom and they took the time to help me create the most beautiful piece of jewelry. Needless to say, my fiancé could not have been happier, and Joe made a customer for life.”

“Received my order of hotel silver flatware yesterday, absolutely beautiful, can’t wait to order more. Especially loved the thank you note, what a nice personal touch!”
“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”
“Excellent staff and fun buying experience! I bought a couple select hobby boxes and they gave me some free cards as well! I ripped them in store with Tim and had a great time. Prices for hobby and retail are very reasonable and they have a great selection of vintage basketball cards. Definitely coming back!”
“Amazing store with reasonably priced furniture and decor gems! I came away with a beautiful mahogany bookcase and a metal wall hanging, but I had to stop myself from buying absolutely everything in stock. The owner was very friendly and helpful, too!”

“WOW am I ever glad I stopped in! Martin is an absolute delight and his shop is full of the most beautiful treasures! This is not your average junky 'antique' shop - he obviously has an eye for quality and unique pieces, and there were so many things that I would have LOVED to take home with me around every corner. Pricing generally seems pretty fair, especially for the quality of the items. I look forward to a return visit!”
“Had the most lovely experience with Moe at Beautiful Rugs! We found many gorgeous rugs but decided on one pretty quickly, and he offered us a great price for a handmade silk and wool Indian rug. Would absolutely recommend making your purchase here. Thanks again Moe :)”
“This is a bizarre review because while I love this place, I also hate it:( This place is huge! Don't come with a group of people of a stroller because the booths and aisles are narrow. This is definitely the kind of place that rents dedicated spots to dealers- some decorate and curate their spaces so beautifully! Everything is tagged ands easily accessible. Other booths are crap on top of crap on top of crap - steer clear of those unless you WANT to dig! It's such an odd pairing of booths where the dealers clearly have an eye and keep up with their space/things... and then some booths that are dirty/dusty/jam packed with "stuff". Of the booths that are locked, it's fairly easy to find a volunteer worker (they roam around a bit so don't get uncomfortable) to open the case. Everyone seems helpful too! They all seem to want to see their dealer friends selling their things! Everyone that works there is also older, so there's not really a sense of urgency. I prefer to shop curated antiques rather than dig through dirt- this place has both! Also be sure to shop the bathroom too! So many mirrors for sale!”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing. The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”

“We used Zap props for our wedding reception. Our theme was “Time Travel” and we wanted the kitchen to look like a 1950s diner. Zap props helped us out. They were easy to work with and affordable. We had to pick up our own props but when we arrived they helped us load the larger items and unload them when we got back. Overall it was seem less. I would highly recommend the for any event prop rentals.”
“If you ever need a unique gift - this is the place to go! They have such an eclectic array of cards, frames, art, books and a whole host of other fun items. What I also like is the local flavor of items and their season gifts. There are Chicago themed items that look vintage or are fun for any room in the house. Finally - the service here is excellent. Even when the store is packed (which is almost every time I go in), there is always someone to help and make great recommendations.”
“Not just the manager, but the customer service of the mall were both so incredibly helpful and accomodating. They went above and beyond to help me attain what I needed all through over the state phone calls. I recommend this mall to anyone and everyone nearby. They are very friendly and willing to help. Thank you so much Jackson Square!!!”
“We came a few days after Christmas and there were still some Christmas stuff inside, and we bought a cute pendant with 50% off! I feel very happy. There are many cute decorations and home accessories inside, and the service staff are very friendly.”
“Amazing selection and displays. You enter her shop and get lost in eras past. Love the more usual and rare pieces available and the decor changes with the seasons in wonderful displays throughout the shop.”
“The owners are genuinely super cool and have a very keen eye I would say there's specialty is American Art Deco mixed with some French but they had very unique few pieces of Memphis which is a design Style from the '80s out of Italy very hard to find and of course they had it the owners are knowledgeable fun and creative problem-solving and we'll have no problem sending clients in there without me to look at recommendations I have discovered at this place.”
“Dark and mysterious! Slammed to the gills with inventory! When you go Inside you might feel like you’re overwhelmed due to the mass of Inventory available!!!! STOP…. Take a deep breath and focus in one spot lol! There ya go…. NOPE!!!! STOP IT!!! Don’t look around!!! Stay focused lol!!! I personally made like 20 laps around this amazing store! “Great shop, inventory changes weekly so check back often. Check out @vintagequest on IG for great pics of new items. Keith is the proprietor, neighborhood gadfly and a great person to work with. Tell Keith Chi-Hammer ? sent ya.”
“NOT your usual antiques shop! The selection and finds one can buy are always truly astonishing: Just browsing is an exciting adventure, imagining the objects’ past lives, and being amazed at the inventions and whatnot of yesteryear. The owners are super helpful and always a delight to chat with. The place is so well-kept and clean, and has lots of welcome sunlight to make the mood so cheery here.”

“This store is magical and amazingt My mother's Annie Wynn Mickens had this beautiful 1950 Baby Doll that loved.
Her name is Baby Annie. My mother love love her so much.I took Baby Annie today to get her hair service. And I pick up some jewelry and some beautiful outfits to add to her collection. My mom went home to be with Lord so I will take good care of Baby Annie!!”
“Such a cool shop! I recently visited this shop for the first time and feel in love with so many of their items. I ended up purchasing a pair of vintage chairs and love them in my space. My overall experience was great. The staff were super helpful when purchasing the chairs, they had them cleaned for me, and made picking them up super easy. I would highly recommend visiting this shop, you’ll definitely find something you’ll love.”
“They always have a great selection of 80s goth, indie, and new wave records. Staff are wonderful, and last time I was in I found a UK original pressing of a rarer Smiths single for a very reasonable price! ?”
“The gentleman that owns the business refinished my table and China cabinet. Both were beat up and given to me. He did an amazing job. Was reasonable about price and professional. I would recommend to anyone.”
“The most wonderful jeweler. From ring resizing to design to jewelry repair Craig has helped us through it all. He is knowledgeable in the way you can only be when you've been in the business for your entire life. A hidden gem!!”
“This is an unmitigated positive experience from start to finish. The exquisite collection of jewelry is a never-ending joy to look through as it spans design eras, offering near limitless choices. The staff and owners know more than seemingly possible and there kindness and patience are always at the ready. I've been shopping here for more than a decade and will continue to do so.”
“If you need your watches repaired please come here. The gentleman was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend the store. Very good prices he allowed us to wait while we got our watch repaired. amazing service. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️”
“This is definitely the best retro spot in town, in my opinion. The owner is incredibly friendly and loves to share the background stories of the items in the shop. The prices are very reasonable, and the honesty about the quality of the pieces sets this place apart from online purchases or higher-end stores. I found a stunning pendant lamp here, and I always make sure to pay a visit whenever I'm nearby. Let's promote local shopping and show some love to independent stores!”
