“A very cozy nice store. Grabbed some supplies with my boyfriend and a book. Saw this place online when I was planning my trip and decided to stop in. Lots of great perfumes and oils as well as supplies for whatever Craft you practice. Also loved the sign on the door (the ICE keep out sign) as well as the Santa Muerte in the window.”

“Such a wonderful place with so much to explore! I could spend hours looking around in here. Their employees Anne and Bruno were so friendly and helpful. Really fun environment to be in and I found some wonderful treasures :)”
“As soon as you walk into Beautiful Rugs, you can tell you're getting a first-class experience with incredible quality pieces. Moe is so unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable and takes his time to find exactly what you're looking for. The only problem is he will give you so many stunning options to choose from that it's so hard to make a decision which one you'll go with! Our decision got so difficult we ended up getting two absolutely stunning Persian rugs!
But it doesn't stop at the quality-- not only did Moe hand deliver our rugs once purchased, but when we had a question about one of the rugs after delivery, he came by in person the next day and talked us through our question.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Moe and his beautiful store. I'll never hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who needs a rug or rug cleaning!”

“I got an AMAZING vintage modern granite table and Henry Miller chairs here that will be in my dining room forever. They were in perfect condition and so much better built and classier than all of the cheap new furniture out there. And the staff is incredibly helpful and worked with me for delivery!”
“I’ve never seen a vintage spot with as big of a selection as this place. We found a phenomenal MCM cabinet that we now use as a bar in our dining area - very fairly priced and the staff was helpful with loading it into our truck. So many great items!”
“I happened upon this treasure of a place while walking today . It's everything an antique should be: interesting and unusual merchandise, reasonable prices. an affable owner and Sophie , his charming dog .”
“The nicest and most helpful sports card people!!! Best sports card selection in the city.

“Beautifully curated boutique that mixes unique decor with vintage + antique. Every time I've gone staff is so sweet and welcoming. They have a mix of vintage inspired pieces, local artist products, and *very* old items. The way it's decorated is also amazing. Perfect place to get a gift for your favorite host.”

“Such a charming little shop! Mercantile M has such a unique mix of gifts, home goods, and beautifully curated items — it’s one of those places where you walk in “just to look” and always end up finding something special. Everything feels thoughtfully selected, from candles and cards to handmade goods and stylish home accents.
The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They’re always happy to help you find the perfect gift or offer suggestions without ever being pushy. It has that cozy, local feel that makes you want to keep coming back.”
“Amazing, fun little shop! I come here all the time and there’s always a great find. The staff is excellent as well. Thanks for your help, Ken! Definitely must visit this store :)”
“Vintage Grind House is one of the best antique shops in Chicago. They have a wide array of beautiful furniture and art and they even offer upholstery services
I highly recommend Vintage Grindhouse and I can’t wait to see their new location!”
“I picked up some a couple of awesome signs with my buddy Randy from Timeworn Salvage. What a great place to get vintage things, almost anything you can dream up!! Great service also, Lisa was great!!”
“a must visit!
they have an amazing selection of records, an interesting selection of literature (i had to buy a book, cool stuff) and a cute puppy at the entrance :)
they played records while I was there, creating a fun atmosphere as I browsed through their selections. I’ll definitely be back.”
“I am over the moon happy with my new Grundig counsel. I had been admiring Harlequin Vintage through socials for a while and I reached out explaining what I was looking for. Dave responded he just so happened to have the exact piece I was looking for! The sound is amazing. I had used his white-glove delivery service and was extremely impressed! Reliving the sound of music I listened to growing up and remembering my parents dancing....priceless. Thank you, Dave!!!”

“Absolutely recommend 100%. I was tasked by my grandma to have a doll restrung. I was about to ship it to another company for much much more $$$. I didn’t know so I assumed that’s what it costs. I confirmed the address to ship it to and that company never responded. I reached out to GIGI’s. Emailed me back quickly. Very reasonable price. Told me how to ship it. Was returned fixed to me within about a week. Was very happy with it. The doll owner is very happy as well?.”
“They have stunning pieces and they prioritize accessible pricing. The owner Jon is also super knowledgeable. I love supporting people who stand by their principles and these guys are the real deal!”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing. The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”
“Antique Resources is a true gem of a destination for European antiques of the highest quality. Visiting their vast showroom, one is immediately impressed by not only the friendly, courteous and knowledgeable Staff, but also the vast selection of carefully selected, superb items of exceptional beauty and historical value. The pricing is both fair and reasonable, particularly because of the quality and rarity of the items. If one has a love for the best and the beautiful, a visit is an absolute necessity.”
“The staff members are so kind here! They helped me get a lovely new coat, were very knowledgeable about the products there, and helped me get my purse back when I left it there!”

“This place is so cool. The store itself isn't large but its PACKED with treasures. If you like antique and vintage medical stuff, or curiosities and oddities i highly recommend coming in here. They gave very fair pricing, and they also have items that are for display only. My favorite was the squirrel gun. A must see shop!”

“I walked into Scout on a whim looking for a bar cart. What I found was a welcoming, knowledgeable staff, with a fantastic curated collection. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Scout with easily become my go to place for interesting and eclectic finds.”
“Rudy, the owner, super helpful guy. I called with questions about movie theater chairs and he graciously offered his time and expertise. If you want someone knowledge and honest, I highly recommend Lazy Dog Antique.”
“To the 1 star review who wondered if they weren’t greeted because of their skin color, I can share I (a visibly brown person) spent hours here and no one was greeted no matter who they were or their skin color. That doesn’t bother me at all, I like being left alone to browse, but wanted to reassure people who may have been put off. Because if you ask any questions, you will get the warmest friendliest service ever. I’m so happy I discovered this place, the furniture is incredible and mostly from estate sales so very high quality stuff. I plan to visit at least a few times a month since they turn over so much stuff.”
“Todd and David went above and beyond! Reasonable prices, great selection, and very accommodating even though I caught them after hours. Would definitely recommend as my favorite spot on antique row. Thanks guys!”
“This is one of the most wonderful places I've ever been Ben waited on us and treated us completely Fair I will always go back there when I want to have an item checked out”
“If you have significant jewelry pieces this is the place to go! I made an appointment with them and they were so helpful, informative, and more importantly extremely trustworthy! His place is filled with amazing pieces of jewelry, silver, and much more. I could have spent days just silently looking at everything lol.
I had some estate jewelry that I inherited that I needed appraised. I wanted specifically to go to a person that would appreciate the history versus just going to have it be melted down. I received a lot of backstory on a lot of my pieces which was very helpful and interesting! He was very charismatic and very interesting! I felt his offer was fair. I would definitely recommend this place.”
“I was looking for a place to sell my old wedding ring, so I began googling for places in Chicago. After reading SO many positive reviews, I had to see for myself if they were true - and they 100% were!! Rose Estate Jewelers, and especially Joe, are SO easy to work with: friendly, approachable, welcoming, non-intimidating, open, and knowledgeable! Not only did Joe give me a great price for my ring, he understood how much my jewelry meant to me and treated it with such care and respect. If I could go back in time, I would have purchased my original wedding ring from them!! Thank you Joe and team!”
