“It had been many years since my last visit. Spanning three floors, it seems Dalvage One has found a balance between being an architectural salvage location and an event space. Much of the first and second floors is dedicated to weddings and parties. Still a very fun placevto explore in.”

This is not your average junky 'antique' shop - he obviously has an eye for quality and unique pieces, and there were so many things that I would have LOVED to take home with me around every corner. “We used Zap props for our wedding reception. Our theme was “Time Travel” and we wanted the kitchen to look like a 1950s diner. Zap props helped us out. They were easy to work with and affordable. We had to pick up our own props but when we arrived they helped us load the larger items and unload them when we got back. Overall it was seem less. I would highly recommend the for any event prop rentals.”

“Alan upholstery shop in Westchester is a rare store that still believes in craftsmanship, customer service and designer detailing. Whether it's wood, fabrics or total redesigning of an old piece of furniture, do yourself a favor and go check out what they do. Angel (master craftsman) is all about aesthetics, quality and creating the best "look/feel" for you home or office. “This place blew my mind! It is a combination of museum and bookstore. A must for any history buff, antiquarian bibliophile, or collector of Lincoln, Civil War, or Americana memorabilia. The people who work there really know their stuff and are great to talk to. You will learn so much. There is no storefront, so you have to call when you get there. However, you will get a personal experience with people who are passionate and knowledgeable about this era in American history.”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing.The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”

I first met Jared from Circa Modern six or seven years ago when he had a very notable booth at 20th Century Cincinnati . I have several pieces from Circa Modern that are definitely in my forever home. This week he was gracious enough to meet me in Chicago despite not being open, and gave me a detailed tour of the shop and new warehouse loft space. I filled my truck with exceptional quality goodies. Also got tips on good burritos nearby. I've been collecting for twenty five years and this is as good as it gets for vintage!”

“This is a bizarre review because while I love this place, I also hate it:( This place is huge! Don't come with a group of people of a stroller because the booths and aisles are narrow. This is definitely the kind of place that rents dedicated spots to dealers- some decorate and curate their spaces so beautifully! Everything is tagged ands easily accessible. Other booths are crap on top of crap on top of crap - steer clear of those unless you WANT to dig! It's such an odd pairing of booths where the dealers clearly have an eye and keep up with their space/things... and then some booths that are dirty/dusty/jam packed with "stuff". Of the booths that are locked, it's fairly easy to find a volunteer worker (they roam around a bit so don't get uncomfortable) to open the case. Everyone seems helpful too! They all seem to want to see their dealer friends selling their things! Everyone that works there is also older, so there's not really a sense of urgency. I prefer to shop curated antiques rather than dig through dirt- this place has both! Also be sure to shop the bathroom too! So many mirrors for sale!”
