Super Espiga is a premier grocery store in Cicero, serving the surrounding areas since 2009. It is always clean and well-stocked, carrying fresh meat, produce, fish, and many other goods. The location also has an incredible tiny taqueria with absolutely delicious, authentic Mexican food. The tacos are fantastic, including the best al pastor and steak burritos. They also sell fantastic tamales, barbacoa, and carnitas on weekends. The owner is extremely nice and the staff are so friendly, helpful, and put a smile on your face. It is an amazing addition to the neighborhood with great food and nice vibes.
The dining area food is really good, I always get a great steak burrito here without any issues. The actual store itself is kind of a mess. Alot of stuff is very overpriced and looks very old as if it’s about to expire. They justify raising prices to support local business but they really just want to make more money.

I’ve been to the store a couple of times and the store is always clean and well stocked! The owner is very nice and be sure to try the torta de milanesa!!
