“It's a small corner store/small business in a small building but it pulls it's weight and I mean that LITERALLY they have a wide and good selection of groceries, drinks, ice cream, medicine, smoke-ables from cigarettes to cigars and just about anything else, pipes, chips, liquor, some really cool and affordable lighters and torch lighters, it's got an ATM it's got your soap/washing needs for a small store you can't help but to admire the strive and the want to stick out among other bigger stores or chains and around the area there's plenty of competition but I definitely recommend this place for locals and none-locals touche to the owner ??”

“What a neat place! We visited today for the first time and fell in love with everything about it. It's very clean and it's cozy sized. You feel good being there. “A nice Mexican neighborhood grocery, taco and food place, with seats, and they also have a bakery. The prices for the grocery are kind of expensive BUT come here for the carnitas! It’s $11 per pound. There’s always a line apparently and there was one today. It’s wasn’t terrible but worth the wait of 10-15 min. The food was fresh and the flavor is great and not too strong and not salty. And I like how you can choose what pieces you want. Carnitas y chicharon on weekends. They have tacos and soups as well like $13/quarter gmenudo (tripe). The menudo was good also. So grocery store was okay but pricey. But the fresh food was good quality and not very expensive. No parking lot but in the street you can find a free spot.”

“Lots of friendly people I know in the store the prices are reasonable it may be small but it's full with chips candy and of course takis this place is my favorite place to go I always go there to get when I need even some of the people I know there go to my school actually and they work there too they're really friendly.”

“Carniceria y Licoreria El Torito looked like they typically had excellent produce. The store looked like it had a good amount of variety and selection, although not a gigantic store. I was grateful for the opportunity to practice Spanish. The store had a nice location and seemed to be in a nice neighborhood. I was grateful the store had its own parking lot as well. It looked like one could even find exotic and uncommon items that would be good food.”

“I LOVE their carnitas and menudo, they have absolutely the best in the Cicero area. They even offer a order in option which allows you to reserve your carnitas/menudo since they do sell out rather quickly. I make sure to set an alarm to confirm I get my fix of carnitas/menudo. If you haven’t had any do definitely recommend you set your alarm accordingly for this weekend. Absolutely ?????”
