Super Espiga is a premier grocery store in Cicero, serving the surrounding areas since 2009. It is always clean and well-stocked, carrying fresh meat, produce, fish, and many other goods. The location also has an incredible tiny taqueria with absolutely delicious, authentic Mexican food. The tacos are fantastic, including the best al pastor and steak burritos. They also sell fantastic tamales, barbacoa, and carnitas on weekends. The owner is extremely nice and the staff are so friendly, helpful, and put a smile on your face. It is an amazing addition to the neighborhood with great food and nice vibes.
Best tortas I’ve ever eaten, meat wasn’t fatty, buns are always super fresh. Never had anything bad from there. They have a great selection of items in their store and good beer selection as well. Love me some Espiga.
