Best Western Plus Chicagoland offers an affordable stay with a mix of friendly service and dated facilities. Guests frequently praise the staff, especially front desk receptionists, for their helpfulness and welcoming attitude, making visitors feel cared for during their stay. The breakfast is generally considered good with a variety of options, providing a positive start to the day. However, the hotel shows signs of wear and tear, resembling a 1990s Hampton Inn, with furniture, carpet, and air conditioning units in need of updating. Some rooms have issues such as leaking toilets, unclean air vents, and worn-out outlets. Noise can be a problem, especially for light sleepers, due to thin walls, loud hotel guests, and elevator noise. Guests have also reported disturbances like loud music and banging on doors during late hours, which can affect rest. The hotel’s exterior appears somewhat run down and could benefit from renovation. While the area is generally safe and there are no pests reported, some guests experienced inconveniences such as malfunctioning elevators and poor parking lot lighting. Overall, Best Western Plus Chicagoland is suitable for budget-conscious travelers seeking a basic, clean place with friendly staff, but it may not meet expectations for comfort and modern amenities.
I stayed here for the weekend and the front desk receptionist Diane was so helpful! She was so accommodating and dropped everything to help us. I would highly recommend staying here.
