Called to schedule a time for delivery, the woman on the phone was polite and cordial and the date and delivery process was communicated clearly to me. Received the couch today at the scheduled time and the delivery men were very friendly and did a great job carrying it up three flights of stairs!!! Entire process was easy and well communicated, really appreciate the service.”
“This is officially my favorite thrift store for furniture. I just moved into my 1st apartment and didn't have any sofas, a kitchen table, and a bedroom set. Thanks to this thrift store I was able to get all this, plus a coffee table and end tables for my living room and a TV entertainment center! They delivered my furniture the same day and took it into my apartment, which is an A+. The customer service was excellent. The lady that rang up my stuff and the man that took my furniture were very friendly and respectful towards me. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for some second hand furniture at a very low price. You will definitely find a lot of high quality pieces. I'm so so happy I went just in time for the black Friday weekend. You do not know how content I am. Every time I walk into my apartment I'm happy to see a homey apartment with all this furniture! “I have been working with Kelsey and Beverly as both a consignor and shopper for just over five years now, and there is no one better than them.
I previously consigned with a larger, national brand in the city and had multiple bad experiences, the culmination of which was them literally stealing a bag from me. That would NEVER happen here.
Kelsey's combines high powered expertise and reach with small business personal touch.
Items I drop off are meticulously tracked, and receipts/pricing is sent for my approval usually within minutes of me leaving.
I've sold many designer bags, shoes and pieces of clothing with them and have never had issues with their pricing or payouts. I'm very knowledgeable of the market myself and we always see eye to eye on pricing. You can collect your balance at the beginning of each month and they'll have a check ready and waiting for you.
Despite absolutely having the knowledge and ability to resell my pieces myself, I choose to work with them because it's such a great experience from beginning to end.
Their payouts are at a higher percentage than what I have seen elsewhere, but even if they weren't - I'd still choose to consign with them.
Not to mention, they're super fun and just great women to know.

“I have always loved this place & have been going there for many years! I will always be a loyal shopper! The deals are amazing and it's for a proven good cause. You can go in at 50% deal days, and save ton! It's a bit pricier than some of the junkier thrift store but it's much better quality items/high end. Ironically, some of the negative posts below reminded me that I haven't been there in a while and I should get their ASAP. It did the exact opposite of what these people were trying to achieve lol! Right before they close, they do warn people. These people are not paid, they volunteer their time! They work from the goodness of their hearts. Everyone there is friendly to me. That lady that might have been disrespectful in that other person's comment could have been someone that was abused herself perhaps, just guessing. I've always seen friendliness there but in the past people have been disrespectful and lingering around there after hours, so keep in mind these are unpaid volunteers. Also some of the people that were upset about the High-priced items.. well just go on the 50% off days. Or don't go at all and leave all the good stuff for us, lol. I bought this awesome Guess dress, Paris perfume, and bracelet pictured below, very affordably. Brand new Victoria Secrets panties with the jewels on the sides & bras for practical nothing ($4 brand new w/tags) You can't get that at other thrift stores. I know my purchases are going to abused women and children for resources such as shelter and counseling . I'm very proud to support this in the community and I'll keep promoting it. There were a lot of people in there today. I will also continue to donate my clothes too. I love to shop there, and highly recommend!”

“I always loved this store. I live in a different area, so we used to go to other locations. When I discovered this one, I was very happy. I always find great deals in here! The store is very clean! It doesn’t smell like a thrift store. The employees are very friendly and helpful. You can try anything on- there are 3-4 fitting rooms. Everything is brand name, so the cost is a little bit higher, but it’s ok. You can get a nice pair of brand jeans for $15. Many items are on clearance. All the clothes are sorted by colour, which is just great! A lot of shoes! Purses, sunglasses, jewellery.

“I always love shopping here and it's definitely much easier to find stuff now than it was before years ago. I definitely recommend that you come here to shop and bring your friends and family and kids to. They have stuff to buy for your house or apartment or wherever you are living at/in. From furniture for the front room and dressers to put in the bedroom then you can get a table as well if they have any available at the time but you can always come back and check in for what you want if it's not there while you are shopping on that particular day. Also you can get appliances for the kitchen for coffee or cooking as well. Books are available for adults and children to. They have a section for the kids to get clothes and shoes and toys and things for school as well. Jewelry for the ladies and men. Shoes for all people to. Clothes are in sections for the women and men to. Purses , wallets and scarves to. Bathing suits for you as well. Jackets are available for everyone to. “Contrary to the negative perception of this location, I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the clothes. I got a Forever 21 denim skirt with no tears/damage for 5$ - just make sure to wash the clothes after purchasing and wash your hands as well - but if you are buying clothes, remember to look at the seams and any zippers, etc.”
