“the idea of Casey is comical but works really well. I never expected a gas station to make really good pizza. plus the specialty pizzas are really good. the little area with the deli and heated food is fun and the donuts are pretty good. service depends on who's working. I've had cashiers who were really nice and some who seemed like they just dident want to work. for a gas station, Casey's is clean. but could be better in some areas. overall a great place”

“Pilot Truck Stop is kinda a mixed-bag experience, but still solid if you know what you’re doing. It’s clutch for fuel, quick snacks, and a pit stop when you’re deep into a road trip or long haul. The store usually has the essentials—drinks, hot food, random stuff you didn’t know you needed—and it’s easy to get in and out if you’re just grabbing basics.
That said, this place is very “real world” energy. It’s busy, loud, and always moving. You’ll see truckers, travelers, families, and chaos all coexisting. Staff is usually working hard keeping things running, and lines can move slower depending on the time of day, but that’s expected at a high-traffic stop like this.
Bathrooms are functional, not luxury. Sometimes clean, sometimes questionable—it really depends on timing and traffic.
Pro Tip: Before sitting in the stalls, check to see if they have toilet paper. Trust. This is not a drill.
Overall, Pilot does what it’s supposed to do. It’s not a vibe stop, it’s a survival stop. If you come in with realistic expectations, you’ll be fine. 7/10—gets the job done, just stay alert.
