Awesome Automotive was a place I found when I first moved to Crestwood back in 2021. Prior to that I was seeing a mechanic down in Chicago that I went to for years because the mechanic was honest, transparent, and didn't try to sell you things that were not necessary in regards to the maintenance of your car. Finding a shop like that is normally a needle in the haystack which is why I never delved away from them for a long time.
I was in a situation of need one day w a car purchase and I found out that awesome Automotive is one of those needle in a haystack type of shops. As time went on, slowly but surely, this has become my go-to location for anything mechanical related due to it being walking distance of my house if i need to leave my car there for longer term repairs, so the convenience was definitely an upsell for me on top of their great service too. Great shop to get work done on your car. I have nothing bad to say about them whatsoever.”

“I went in for my breaks to be checked along with an oil change and they were very kind and informative, as I am not very good with cars. I have found it challenging to find a place that will not take advantage of me with my lack of knowledge with cars, and this place is great for anyone with little or no car knowledge. They treat you and are open to help, show and explain what they are doing and why. When they finished they noticed my wipers were falling apart and asked if I wanted them replaced, which I agreed, and it was one less thing I had to worry about. They are detailed and are there to help you. I highly recommend this Midas location, I have been to other Midas locations in the area, and this one is my favorite.”

“Classic did a wonderful job on a minor restoration rust repair, dent and paint on my late dad's other woman 1985 Cadillac Seville. the owner is very friendly and busy but very much worth my time to leave 2 to 3 messages in my opinion to track down to have him work his magic on the car. work was complete in 10 days cash only but very reasonably in price. small shop independent he knows his craft”

“This place is awesome and I highly recommend. I had several issues with my vehicle, broke down on Labor Day, no one was open. I had tge vehicle towed here hoping tbey would be able to fix and get driving within a week or so, the sooner the better but they worked on in Tuesday and Wednesday and I had the vehicle back Wednesday afternoon, all the issues resolved. The communication during the time they had it was great as well. Cost of the repairs was fair, I didnt feel like they were ripping me off or trying to get over on me like I do with many places. I felt fortunate to randomly find them and thanks to good previous reviews, I wasnt hesitant. You guys Rock, Thank you!”

My good friend recommended them after my trucks Transmission broke down 3 hours from Chicago on my drive back home to Texas.
They were very honest, direct, and fare. They understood my situation and that I needed to get back to work ASAP, so they worked fast and had my truck ready in 2 days!
I drove it home to texas fully loaded with a family of 5, my dog, luggage, and a cooler filled with 18 frozen Beggars Pizzas.
I won't lie, I drove it hard so I can make it back to work.
It worked and handled great!
