To put it short, this store has rekindled my long lost joy for reading. Their selection feels very carefully hand picked, as there’s always something that jumps out at me every time I go in. I love perusing the shelves and choosing what to read next, or even just coming in to say hi to George. This is my go-to book store

Happy we finally made it to Abalabix Books for the first time this week. We were promptly greeted by staff and "vetted" by George (friendly dog mascot)! This lively hometown, boutique- style bookstore is a fresh face in an Amazon-dominated world. A wide selection of books were neatly presented and grouped by genre. Owner Diane chatted with us as well, sharing her passion for books and her desire to be an integral part of downtown. I'd highly recommend a trip or TWO! Oh... and don't let the Williams Street address fool you. They're on the "back" side of the Brink Street Market kinda behind the Raue.

Came in Christmas Eve to see if they had any kids books in Spanish and loved the help we were given! Always wish we could find more but still loved every book we got. Definitely will come back for more and to visit George of course!
