Went in for last minute nail trim and dremel. Johanna C., the Salon Lead, was fantastic with my 5 lb. Yorkie. She was quick, efficient, and professional! I will return monthly to have my baby's nails trimmed by her. I Highly Recommend this Pet Salon for nail trims! Thank you, Johanna, C.!

Carl is amazing with our two dogs. He asks great questions, and my dogs do not fear going to get their grooming done. If you are looking for a new place to have your fur baby groomed, ask for Carl!

I had been consistently taking multiple dogs to one groomer who was great. Management is terrible though, especially one of the floor managers, Gyll or something to that effect. It seems her only purpose is to escalate any otherwise perfectly fine conversation or issue she insinuates herself into. It's a shame that her behavior and attitude rises to the level of me not wanting to return.

You can never go wrong not finding what you need for your furry friends or aquatic pals. Friendly staff. Only thing is watch out for poop in the parking lot and near the store entrance.

Just went to petsmart in Darien for cat food and dog food . Seen a sign that said there’s a sale on ur dogs grooming for $25. So, I was on my way to check it out. I seen the girl in there grooming this looked like a goldendoodle thru the window. The dog was in no way being difficult or moving a lot, yet this woman was pulling the dog by its chin hairs and cheek hairs roughly. I watched her do this for about 3 to 5 minutes til I went In there and asked the front desk “are all of you rough with the dogs like that or is it just her” they asked how do I mean and I said that girl is pulling on that dogs hairs really rough. They tried to tell Me “sometimes when dogs aren’t sitting still” annnd that’s when I walked out. Tf . The manager chased after me when I left and asked if that’s my dog and I said thank god it’s not . he asked what I seen and I told
Him check ur cameras dude? Go ask that girl why is she treating that dog like that. I asked for her name twice. Her name is Anna .
Sorry for the long story but if this was your dog getting groomed at about 5 pm on March 13th today at 2153 75th st Darien il 60561, you should. Never take ur dog there again.
We really should be more careful on where we take our animals to be treated for anything. Make sure you can trust these businesses with our pets .

I bring my dogs to the same groomer, he does a great job. That is wht this store gets any stars from me. Grooming department aside, there is a "floor manager" named "gill" (probably pronounced like "jill") who is rude and acts absolutely obtuse about any issue you bring to her. She is not meant for customer service because she can immediately escalate a situation. She's not at all what you'd call an asset to the company.

I used to come here with Buddy Boy, my cat. Buddy was very friendly despite being feline. The other customers, staff and management got to know him and would stop to say hi and greet him. Which he happily obliged. From shopping for canned food and catnip with me to strutting past the doggy daycare (his favorite pastime), we both had nothing but postive visits every month.Unfortunately, Buddy Boy passed away in 2020. We weren't living near Darien anymore but one of my first thoughts were of this PetsMart. My heart is still broken from Buddy leaving us. He loved going to your store, getting love from everyone: the staff, the workers and other customers. He enjoyed every minute of it. Even when I would have to fish him out of the Cat Trees. I enclosed a pic of Buddy in case anyone remembers him. He really loved you all.I cannot say I ever had a bad experience at this establishment. It's been years since I've been there. I'm confident it's still the warm inviting place it's always been.

Had two different bad experiences here. First time was when I bought my bearded dragon. I bought a lighting kit. Lighting kit says it comes with a bulb. No bulb in box. Bring to the attention of the manager who adamantly refused to let me just grab a bulb off the shelf even after I showed him online that it came with the bulb. Returned it and went to pet supplies plus on route 53 got the same kit lo and behold there was not 1 but 2 bulbs in the box.Second was watching an employee mist the bearded dragon cages. Those are desert lizards humidity in their tanks is not only bad for their health it makes them prone to certain diseases. Please train your employees how to care for the animals under your care.Despite these things I'm giving 3 stars because besides that one manager staff has consistently been awesome every time I go in. Some just need to care for the animals better.

Great groomers. The groomers were good at trimming my dogs nails. Saw a pet hotel. They don't have a Banfield at this location.
