My brother and dad came in to put my dad on my phone plan, they were told the system was down and rudely did not assist them further. They were rude and simply didn’t take time to direct them any where else or help In any way. Hickory point mall location was amazing however where they went instead where they were helped by an employee named Trevor. Will not go to the mound road Verizon again for assistance. Please learn your bedside manners.

Verizon is adamant they have inventory at this location that they in fact do not. I would invest in getting your systems updated to allow your stores to properly communicate what is in inventory rather than frustrating customers by sending them all over town.

Blake was super helpful and very informative about all the products we were interested in. He was very kind and polite. We had a very pleasant experience with him and in the store overall!!! Would highly recommend going to see him at the Decatur Mound location!

Deceitful markup without transparency! I went in at Pixel 6's launch and Jeff was able to show me one - which was awesome. I asked if there was any difference to ordering online as I usually do, and he said 'no.' The one I wanted (Pixel 6 Pro) had to be ordered anyway, so I had to come back a couple days later. He had showed me it on screen at $899, so I expected to pay $899 + taxes and the Verizon $35 upgrade fee.Back in the store, as they're doing the file transfer for me, I see him go get a case, screen protector, and charger. I tell him I don't need any of that; he says "they're included."As I'm walking out of the store, I check my receipt and find it is around $150 high! Jeff had charged me for a screen protector, a case, and a charger, all without my agreement. And, the $899 phone was now $910 in store. I was able to get the case and charger returned, but the screen protector was applied and not returnable. And I had now paid more for the phone in store than I could have ordered it online for from Verizon.Total SCAM of an operation telling people things are included, then charging them for it... and charging more on day of sale than shown on the monitor beforehand. I won't be going back, and would suggest most other people could save valuable money by working directly with Verizon as well. All this place does is add markup and try to bundle things in that customers don't need, all while being shady about it.

This location mislead me in my purchase and was billed $810 as a result. They store never picks up when I call and the mailbox is always full. I would never shop here and will likely leave Verizon altogether.

I have gone through a few of the reviews this morning and so far no one seems to have gone through what I did. From the moment I walked into the Verizon Shop this morning the reception I received by "Jeff"....if that is his right name...was the rudest encounter I have experienced in all of my 72 years. My oldest son and his wife have had me on their phone plan for the last few years. They were getting an upgrade to the phones but since they live in Michigan and I live in Illinois I would have to take my phone to the Verizon dealer and have them talk to an agent that had worked with my son and go from there. Jeff acted like I was talking a foreign language. I told him what I knew...and I told him about calling John in Michigan which he totally disregarded. Jeff's expression never changed, he held me in complete disdain. I had bathed this morning, I wore deodorant and clean clothes and yet he made me feel like i was dirt. It was a humiliating encounter and one I never want repeated. Especially by someone who is young enough to be my son. I told him that I was older, I didn't understand how all of this stuff works like he did or my kids....but he had no inclination or desire to be of any help. I will never forget him and I will forever think of him when I think of Verizon....and no, I would never recommend for anyone to use their service. Thank you for your time.

Had the best experience with this store. Walked in after being turned away from corporate saying they had no phones to offer me and walked out of Russell Cellular with the phone I wanted. They were beyond helpful and I'm so glad I went there instead.
