“We could not have found a more perfect venue for our wedding on July 12, 2025. From the moment we showed up for our tour and met with Monique, we knew Kenilworth was the place for us. The venue is beautiful, historic, and well-maintained, yet the pricing and contract requirements are completely reasonable and fair. We felt comfortable and at home from that very first visit. We also found an excellent caterer (Catered by Design) from their preferred catering list. Monique was a dream to work with--so organized and punctual yet laid-back and flexible. We received so many compliments on the venue from our guests. While we opted to have both our ceremony and reception indoors, Monique allowed us to open up the lawn and patio to guests for cocktail hour, which was absolutely stunning and a huge hit. I would recommend Kenilworth to anyone looking for a wedding venue!”
“I decorated an engagement party & Tatiana was an absolute pleasure to work with. She constantly checked up on my team & I to make sure we had everything we needed and if we had any questions. The space was beautiful and the rest of the staff were so attentive as well. This is a beautifully kept club and I hope to be back! ?

“My wife and I recently had our wedding at Loft 21 a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, the pictures, walk throughs and planning did not do justice to how amazing the venue was.My wife and I are planners and we booked with Loft 21 a year in advance, so you can imagine we had a lot of ideas for our wedding. The planning process with Loft was good, some minor miscommunication, but feel like that will happen anywhere when you're emailing back and forth for that long. We were quickly able to jump on the phone and hash out all the plans and timeline to make everything flow perfectly.Brittni (Operation Lead) did an amazing job for our ceremony and reception and made the day of so easy for us that we did not have to do anything before the wedding, other than setting up our own props. The pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went so smoothly, it's really hard to believe. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Loft 21 to any couple looking to get married in the area.I'd also highly recommend utilizing Loft 21s preferred vendors, specifically H.Y.P.E Media as the owner of Loft also owns them so it made the Music and Production so much easier on us.They allow you to customize pretty much your own event, from lighting to set up to bar package, to pretty much anything you can think of.Thank you again Loft 21, Brittni, Jazmine and everyone else at Loft 21 for making our day so special and easy on us!”
“I rarely leave reviews, but Sam and his co-manager at Bowlero, they both absolutely deserves recognition’s . From the moment we walked in, they set the tone for a smooth, enjoyable night. They were friendly, patient, and incredibly professional.
When we had an issue, Sam handled it immediately and with real care. He didn’t brush anything off, he took ownership, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was fixed quickly. You don’t see that level of customer service much anymore.
Sam and his associate manager genuinely made our visit better. They checked in on us, made sure the lanes were good, and treated us like actual valued guests. You can tell they takes pride in the place and in their job.
Bowlero is lucky to have them. Because of these fine people, we’ll definitely be coming back.”

“We had our wedding at the metropolis ballroom in August 2025 and they surpassed our expectations! We worked with Anita and truly couldn’t say enough good things about her, she made our wedding feel like such a priority and met all of our needs! She was so attentive, responsive and present on our wedding day and all the months leading up! The venue was beautiful, was able to accommodate our large guest list and felt very us! We feel so lucky. Thank you!”

“It was AMAZING to see the Home Alone house. When we were there, over 50 people arrived. The big thing to remember is that that is someone's house, so be respectful. It was really cold to see the house even many many years later.”

The Staff are professional and prompt.My personal fav: the breakfast menu offers a sophisticated take on every day classics - the items we ordered were delicious and beautifully prepared.We enjoyed our short stay - will return!”
“A must see! Give yourself plenty of time to see this museum. Great displays telling the Holocaust stories. They do have guides to walk you through the displays. We haven't used them, but I'd recommend using them your first time through. I've been here 2 times and haven't taken enough time to see all in detail. Make sure you plan to see the 3D Holocaust survivor exhibit. It's a hologram of a survivor sitting on a chair telling their story. You can ask questions, and they answer. Very cool. They have a VR experience. I'd recommend you go to that. However, the technology needs upgrading. It's worth going to. Overall, highly recommend you visit and great for young adults to understand what really happened. Learn from history, so this never happens again.”
“Such a tremendous wedding venue in the Chicagoland area. The Armour House has a European Old World grandeur that is unmatched. We might as well have been in Italy all day long! I was so impressed and had so much fun playing on the grounds. It's elegant and romantic with plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces for photos. Can't say enough positive things about this stunning wedding venue!

“Had a very enjoyable stay. I don't normally leave reviews for hotels but I had to let everyone know that Kim who ran the hotel bar and grill was totally awesome! After a bad restaurant experience at Rosebud's Steak House and saying goodbye to our son shipping out in the Navy I was feeling very low. But after some awesome wings and 2 Kim specials.... I was feeling no pain! Thank you, Kim for being awesome. For listening, and for your words of encouragement. I would cone back just for you! LBVS! To management... Give this woman a raise or one heck of a Christmas bonus. I think you may be underestimating what she does for your guests. It's not just pouring drinks and serving food.

“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”
