“It’s not easy to find an exotic vet, let alone one that is close to where you live. Dr. Weber and the staff were so wonderful and compassionate. We brought our baby slider, Cinnamon, and they really took the time to make sure she was fully evaluated and cared for. Dr. Weber provided so many helpful resources and the staff were so welcoming and kind. Everyone made sure we had all the tools and resources to help get our little Cinnamon recover. We feel so relieved to know that we have found such a wonderful practice to entrust our reptile babies at!”

“The staff at Companion is friendly and caring from the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors. They do extra things to make you feel special, like having white boards welcoming our pets by name in the rooms to sending personalized follow up emails. They even have a candle at the front desk that they will “light” to request people be quiet and respectful as someone is saying goodbye to their beloved pet in the back. I love Companion Animal Hospital and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a team they can trust to take great care of their pets.”

“We are newer to the area and have two cats and no vet. I called them and they got us in right away (Other vets I had called in the area before them said I had to wait a week to see my cat Elery) she could bor wait a week to be seen as she had fecal matter completely stuck to her rump, which can be really unhealthy and cause infection, it was bad and she was super uncomfortable and it came on all the sudden. Dr. Lawrence and her staff were amazing with us in Elery. The clinic is clean and the staff and the doctor extremely professional and caring. I was completely stressed and they made me so comfortable and of course Elery too. When all was said and done even the fee was reasonable especially for the ask and the last minute getting us in and being so wonderful. We Thank and appreciate all of you there and thank you for the welcome Card we received in the mail after visiting. You are wonderful! If you looking for a great place to bring your pet I highly recommend!!!”
“This place has been great since the day we walked in the door. Very upfront and makes sure you understand everything in depth! Dr. Mimi and her team (Michele) have been outstanding from start. Our chocolate lab almost didn’t make It through her infection but Dr. Mimi and her team were there 24/7 assisting with Taylor and any questions/concerns we had. “Simply no words for how great this place is! Personally, there is no choice more important than the place/people I choose to help care for my animals. The team at Glenview AH is warm, understanding and welcoming. It just makes all the difference! Dr. Mateles, Lauren (Tech), Chris and everyone else we met during our visit were so kind. Equally important to a vet being knowledgeable is their compassion, and the way that Dr. Mateles and the veterinary support staff interacted with my pup, Homie, put me at ease beyond words!!! They genuinely care and they genuinely love your animals.

“I have been going to this vet for 10 years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building, with its updates, is clean and has a modern look. I absolutely love Dr. Bannow. She has been wonderful with all of the issues both of my dogs have had, such as cancer and arthritis. Dr. Bannow is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. She takes the time to explain everything. She is conservative and doesn't push extra stuff either. Additionally, Dr. Bannow is professional yet extremely personable. She really cares for you and your pet. I highly recommend her. I wouldn't go anywhere else. In fact, I drive 45 minutes just to see Dr. Bannow.”

“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable”

“I am a first time dog owner so when my dog injured her paw and was limping, I immediately called our vet. They didn't have any appointments for the following days so I called vca, who were able to schedule me right away. We saw Dr Orzyp and she was phenomenal. She was so patient with Izzyy as she wiggled around and so caring and gentle with her! They were able to find the sore in her paw and prescribe medication. Izzy was back to normal a couple days later! Can’t recommend them enough to help take care of your pet!!”

I have a reactive dog and I was extremely greatful for the pre-surveys and carefulness put into making sure my Mimzy felt safe and comfortable. Dr. Makofski was very kind and open to my questions and concerns. I really felt welcomed and my Mimzy behaved so well; and while I would love to give her all the credit, the staff had a huge part to play by taking the time to get to know her! Would 100% recommend this animal hospital!!! A very satisfied furever customer!!!
10.14 Update: I had to take in my dog for what I originally thought was a broken nail (turned out to be allergies). Dr. Smizinski and Vet Assistants handled Mimzy with care, especially when cutting her nails. I was very thankful for their help and patience in answering my questions and approaching Mimzy at a pace she was comfortable with. At previous clinics, I always felt like I had to push the staff to answer questions or check something, and at VHAH I can tell your staff are experts at what they do plus they have the patience with pets and owners to ensure a satisfactory visit. I am just happy that Mimzy is feeling better and we may soon have a solid treatment plan for her skin issues so thank you so much!”

“Excellent highly recommend! Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable veterinarian and vet assistants took great care of our Flemish Giant rabbit, Bunkins. Giant rabbits are not always easy to handle but they did such a great job that Bunkins actually seemed to be looking forward to his check up! They went above and beyond to help him heal from a leg injury and loss of appetite, even emailed a prescription on short notice so we could refill his medication at our local Walgreens. Very professional, there was no waiting time when we arrived, they already had his room ready! Thank you for taking such great care of Bunkins!! He is doing so much better!”
