About Holmes Student Center Hotel
The Holmes Student Center Hotel is a very pragmatic, no-thrills hotel located directly on the NIU campus, offering great access and walkability. It is described as a very comfortable, quiet, and very clean space in the heart of university life, with all necessary amenities. The rooms are comfortable but in need of some upkeep, such as paint. The property is safe, protected by campus security. It fills up quickly, so reservations are advised. The student center itself is a perfect place to hang out, study, or wait, with TVs, benches, and comfy chairs.

Used the campus as an engineering convention for kids. The event was scattered across several of the college venues including the student center. Love the updates to the facilities since I attended college at NIU
