“In the very best of ways, I was absolutely stunned by dealing with Mike and his crew. Amazing service - very honest - exceptionally fair prices.
I called them and told them that I was from out of town, and my situation was pretty urgent. I was told to come in right away and they would take a look at my vehicle.
Mike brought me into the shop and showed me what issues they found - just complete and total honesty - I never for a single second felt like they were "selling" anything to me. I was presented with the facts, shown the evidence of the issues, and I felt absolute confidence that I was being given honest information.
Side note: When I first arrived at the shop, I found the whole crew sitting around a table enjoying a family style meal - and get this, they were talking to one another! Really made me feel like this was truly a family operation.
From start to finish I felt like I was being treated in the same way that they would treat a dear friend. I'm from St. Paul, MN, and I'm very jealous of the people in this area - I hope that people realize the gem that they have in this shop.”

“I brought my truck to Accurate Auto after dealing with a check engine light that no one else could figure out. The truck was showing multiple codes — P219B, P0300, and P0306 — and it turned out there was low compression across the entire right bank of the engine. My engine had actually been replaced with a new Jasper engine back in March, so this issue was a major concern.
Accurate Auto took the time to properly diagnose the problem and discovered that the engine itself had a defect. They reached out to Jasper on my behalf, handled the entire warranty process, and got approval for a replacement engine. Within about two weeks, they had a brand-new Jasper engine installed and had my truck back on the road.
Their communication, professionalism, and honesty throughout the entire process were outstanding. They solved a problem that several others couldn’t, and they stood behind their work. I truly appreciate how smoothly they handled everything, especially something this major.

“This is the second time I've used MB Auto for service on my Jeep Wrangler. They did the rear bearings and seals. And I had an exhaust rattle/leak and check engine light - they fixed the rattle and check engine light is still off. Glad they just don't throw parts according to what an OBD scanner might say. Happy with their work.
2 years ago they were referred to me. They fixed my fried TIPM on my Jeep at that time. Had a little wait for the part, but it came in earlier than expected. All is great still. Though they are like a 20 minute drive from me, I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my cars there for service.
Edit: Took one of our other cars, an SUV in for some work recently. It's been a couple months since I had some repair work on our GMC Acadia. Exhaust system and our thermostat was worked on when I brought my SUV to MB Auto this past August . An O2 sensor was also causing a check engine light, since this was replaced, I have had no check engine lights whatsoever in the last 2 months. The car is so quiet now with the exhaust repair. Have all the confidence bringing my cars to Scotty at MB Auto.”

“My rearview mirror was broken off by some j*** in my neighborhood and Edison Park while I slept. I reached out to a friend who is able to refer me to this great autoshop to get me fixed right up within 1 week. This wasn't luck this was meant to be. Because I had called him and left a voicemail on Monday, he returned my call promptly and asked me some questions about the age of my car and the price it would cost. I admitted to the fact that this is an older car with lots of miles and a matching mirror was not necessary; just something that actually took care of what was wrong which is being able to see out the left side from of my driver side mirror. We agreed that Thursday is a good time for me to bring the car in and here I am getting my car worked on and the new mirror installed. Odi, the owner was so polite, when I handed him the rearview mirror from my vehicle he knew exactly what to do. Inside the repair shop there are newspapers that turns out are ones that my friend drops off here to the shop for his father who owns the Filipino newspaper/magazine Pinoy. And a large tv with local news playing. Take advantage of the businesses on Oakton, while waiting.”
“I have known this guy for almost three decades and watch him and his business grow. He has done a few major jobs for me and I was and still please with the quality work he does. He has a wide knowledge of cars. My first car he worked on was a Mercury Sable 1996, then Honda Accord 2004, BMW 530i 2002, Subaru Forrester 2006, Audi A4 2006. If something is fixable and cost effective he will fix it. He not only think of the best for your car, he think what’s best for your pocket and make sense. I now live out of state and I ship my car to him for major jobs. I recommend this to guy all day every day.”
