The Avid Hotel Chicago O’hare – Des Plaines is an excellent hotel with a perfect location, just around 8 to 10 minutes by car to O'Hare airport. It offers a free shuttle for transportation to and from the airport. The hotel is beautiful, with cozy facilities, an indoor heated pool, and a gym. Rooms are comfortable, in perfect condition, and 100% clean, with sheets and bathrooms that smell good. The staff is super nice, helpful, very friendly, kind, and hospitable, from the concierge to the manager, always ready to serve and help. It has a quick breakfast in the mornings with a lot of variety, including items like veggie omelettes, sausage omelettes, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, snack bars, coffee, and juices. The hotel provides drinks and some fast food, but just walking across the street offers a good number of restaurants and places to eat, including Target and Ross. The area is very safe. With a great price for a good room, it is a very good place to spend a few pleasant days and is very well recommended.

This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was non stop cleaning. Most likely because they use Ecolab products. If they used Procter& Gamble professional products they probably wouldn’t have to work so hard cleaning.

It's a no frills hotel. Bed is very comfortable, staff is very helpful.

I have stayed here more times this year than my actual bed. Bella at the counter is the best! Hotel is cleaner than most and they are quick to address any issues. Again Bella is exceptional.
