The sophisticated, high energy restaurant pays tribute to Harry Caray, the beloved Chicago Cubs hall of fame sportscaster. The restaurant reflects Harry's personality--warm, welcoming and entertaining. We source the finest USDA prime, aged steaks available and cook them to perfection. Our Italian favorites combine old school techniques with the best and freshest ingredients. Our servers are the best in the business and will make you feel right at home. Guests seeking a welcoming spot to catch any major sporting event can hang out in Harry’s plasma-packed bar. The lovely tree-lined patio offers a relaxing spot to drink or dine outdoors—the covered area of the patio, with heaters and ceiling fans, can be enjoyed from Spring through Fall.
About the restaurant & décor: There's a lot of verve at Harry Caray's downtown, so this outpost comes off a bit cold and listless by comparison. The atmosphere mirrors the downtown location (checked tablecloths, tile floor, spacious seating).Likes: Generous service and solid fare.Dislikes: Lacks the pizzazz of the downtown location.Food & Drinks: We like the Tuscan salad with imported Italian meats and cheeses arranged with a stuffed cherry pepper, artichokes and olives. Harry's makes a very good linguine with clams, and the steaks are usually beyond adequate. Come to think of it, the shrimp cocktail is first-rate, too. Service is generally good, and the wine list isn't half bad. A light menu is offered in the bar beginning at 11:30 a.m. Also located at 33 W.
