“Cheap place to get gas near the airport. My only complaint was there wasn't a whole lot of room to either turn around or go around everybody else once you were done pumping gas.”

“If I could give them 100 stars I would!! I originally was dealing with CVS specialty (pls save yourself the headache and never deal with them) and it was constant back and forth. I asked my doctors office if they could send my prescriptions over to this Walgreens and literally within the 20 mins my doctor sent it over, Walgreens called me, processed everything and picking up within the hour!!! CVS specialty is so disorganized giving me number after number couldn’t track the medications just terrible!! Thank you Walgreens!!!”
“I used their online service and ordered three goods using the app. The app UI is fairly easy to navigate and I had no trouble finding what I needed.The only issue that I have is with their service; it takes an extended amount of time to process the merchandise, and I didn't pick it up until the next day. Picking up was made simple, and I'm pleased that I didn't have to leave my car because they offer curbside pick up. The curbside pickup area is located south of the building beside the tires department, and it is difficult to miss if you follow the sign. Once parked, I use the app to inform the staff that I'm there so they may deliver the products to my car. The personnel was helpful in loading the stuff into my car.Overall, I'm satisfied and I anticipate using this service more frequently over the winter.”
“I had problems with the gas pump where it malfunctioned and froze up locking my ccard. Ivan was the onsite attendant and he worked diligently to try to reset the pump computer and finally got it working again after having to shut down both pumps. Though this process took over 15 minutes, it surely wasn't anyones fault. I am thankful the Ivan was there to assist me with this issue. His professionalism is greatly appreciated!”

“I am amazed by the compassion and mercy of these people who work here. May God protect them! I am a truck driver and a New Yorker. I am here on a business trip. My truck broke down and instead of one week I had to spend three weeks here. And naturally I did not calculate the amount of medication that I take for high blood pressure that I took with me on the trip. I turned to these people to buy a few pills because I can’t stop taking this medication. They were filled with compassion for me and gave me the required number of pills for free. I am very grateful to them. They are Good Samaritans.”

Sandy (one of the pharmacists) went out of her way to help me out and want to make sure she gets recognized for her excellent customer service and being just a great person!!

“When CVS could not fill my medication and would take them over 4 days to get it, not to mention their price for the medication was over $78 more then Jewel-Osco. After several attempts to reach CVS over the phone it was impossible, you would get TRUMP faster on the phone than CVS Pharmacy personnel or pharmacist. I had to physically go to the CVS store to get my prescription and take it over to Jewel. That’s when it all came to light when JAY the pharmacist at JEWEL helped me out with a smile on his face and his great work ethic. Right away he took my prescription and told me he would have it for me next day but would double check and call me back by end of day. This was already 6pm. Around 715 Received a call from JAY telling me that another Jewel-Osco have my medication in stock and if it was okay to transfer it to the other store. He went above and beyond to help me out. What a great gentleman and customers service ?
Jewel will be filling my prescriptions from now on.”

“Juan was very professional and thorough with the service he provided. He was patient with all my questions and was able to successfully rectify my issues. I went to Firestone, just tires and a local mechanic who all said my sensor was fine. I knew it wasn't because the tire sensor light stayed on, on the dashboard. Juan install my 2 new Goodyear tires and replace faulty sensor and now my vehicle is functioning the way It should. I would highly recommend them to anyone. 😀”

“If you need to get a prescription filled, I’d go to Walgreens on Miner Street in Des Plaines. Ask for Joanne, who’s the Certified Licensed Pharmacy Technician. She’s knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, caring, and understanding. She bends over backwards to help me. I used to be a Pharmacy Technician at a Ma and Pa corner drugstore in 1972. We always knew our patients names and we always treated them with respect and kindness. It’s extremely rare to find someone like Joanne. She’s the best.”
“Good selections, pretty clean location. Friendly staff. Busy Rx but always friendly and efficient. This place gets a bad rep but I have never had an issue. I have long waits at the pharmacy but they always treat me with respect, take their time, get it right, and I leave on a good note!”
