“Excellent prices. I usually only shop for houseware items and I have found some very nice pieces here. I haven't brought furniture here but I've seen very responsibly priced furniture that comes with a discount.”
“Absolutely fantastic thrift store!! Great price point, super well organized and clean. Especially impressed with the quality of accessories. It’s not often you find them in such nice condition and reasonably priced. Thank you!! 😊”
“IF THEY DONT HAVE IT RICHARD , ALEX AND FAM WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIND IT FOR YOU GUARANTEED! !!!!! THEY ALSO DELIVER! “My first visit, 6 months ago, I shopped for 2 hrs. Had a basket full of items and my 8 lb dog (blind, deaf, in special “seat”, no noise) was with me. Several of the shop employees helped me get the cart so my dog was comfortable and they all commented how cute and quiet he was, which I really appreciated. Upon moving to check out, I was (pretty harshly) informed that I was unable to purchase my items as there is a NO PETS policy in the store. Ok… I get it. But why let me shop for 2 hrs before informing me? …… yesterday… I went back, without my dog. Same rude, cold, personalities I remember from prior. Clean store. Good “stuff”. Pricing is a little high for the area. Just don’t ask for assistance.”

“Hidden treasure in Englewood. ♥ Can’t believe this location has been here for 20 years. The gym is top notch, clean, and spacious! The elevated indoor track is a beautiful addition! Overall phenomenal location and staff. I love working out here for the fraction of the cost ($17.50/month). Gym is never crowded and fully equipped.”

“World class organization. I paid 4 bucks for a pair of Lucky jeans. Who's the lucky one here. Inventory changing all the time, because of the hard working people there. It's a thrift store that has real bargains for real people...and stuff”
“Village Discount will be my favorite thrift store for all time. I was able to afford stylish winter coats and many other durable goods since moving to Chicago because they were fairly priced and in good condition. The rewards are fair and the discounts on top of low prices are hard to beat by any chain or local thrift. Highly recommend!”
“I love this store a great place to shop especially if you have a large family I love the 50% off plus the buy one get one free on Tuesdays you just have to watch it though because a lot of times they will give you the 50% off but not the free items it's been a few times this has happened to me but overall I'll continue to shop here”

“This place is amazing bring clean and organized I was able to find things in my size without a hassle. “I always love shopping here and it's definitely much easier to find stuff now than it was before years ago. I definitely recommend that you come here to shop and bring your friends and family and kids to. They have stuff to buy for your house or apartment or wherever you are living at/in. From furniture for the front room and dressers to put in the bedroom then you can get a table as well if they have any available at the time but you can always come back and check in for what you want if it's not there while you are shopping on that particular day. Also you can get appliances for the kitchen for coffee or cooking as well. Books are available for adults and children to. They have a section for the kids to get clothes and shoes and toys and things for school as well. Jewelry for the ladies and men. Shoes for all people to. Clothes are in sections for the women and men to. Purses , wallets and scarves to. Bathing suits for you as well. Jackets are available for everyone to. It's a must go to place to shop for what you want to find in this wonderful place. Enjoy your time here. Recommend you come here definitely!!!”
