Awful experience. Ordered flowers for a wake with guaranteed delivery before the service. Thirty minutes before service I called them to find out why my flowers weren’t delivered yet - they said they couldn’t get in touch with the local florist and sorry, it was a non-delivery but they’d send it to the family’s house. It was a funeral arrangement! I don’t want it at the house, I wanted it for my cousin’s service! Now there is nothing there and since I’m out of state, no time for me to get anything there.

BOOOO. I’m really frustrated with the price (basically close to $100 for a single bouquet after taxes), the tracking (NO SPECIFIC INFO), and the EXTREME slowness of the service despite the high price!!! NEVER recommending FTD (stupid name too btw, lol) to anyone, and never using them again. Customer service was clueless as well.

I'd leave a lower rating if I could. I ordered flowers 5 days ahead of time for my aunt's funeral and was assured over the phone that they'd be delivered an hour before the funeral at 9:30. The tracking didn't tell me anything so I used chat to find out if they'd been delivered. Nope. It was 2 hours after the funeral and they'd never been sent to the church. They offered to deliver them to her home. Really?? She's dead. There's no one there. Absolutely horrible service. I'll never use them again. And I'd better get a refund in. UPDATE: I was contacted by FTD and was told I'd get a refund on my order. Really FTD? You forget to send the flowers I ordered to my aunt's funeral and all you can offer is a refund? That's the LEAST you should do. What a crappy company. Save your money and frustration people. Try anyone but FTD.

The arrangement ordered was for a funeral of a friend that passed away from cancer. And the floral arrangement from FTD was terrible! It looks like somebody started doing the arrangement then never finished it! It was bare, half the flowers are missing that allegedly are supposed to be in this arrangement. I understand that it can differ from the exact picture but this is ridiculous! I trusted the FTD floral name, but never again, what a rip off. I tried to contact the alleged customer service email at the bottom of the survey I received to send pictures only to have it bounce back.

My mom ordered the Elegant Embrace Standing Spray from FTD for my aunt’s funeral, and we were very disappointed. We ordered what we thought was one of the nicest spreads for a very special woman we lost. For a spray that came out to nearly 200$, the funeral home received something very different and much cheaper. Many of the flowers depicted in the photo were replaced, and the greenery was nowhere near as lush. Photos of what we should have received versus what we actually received have been included. When we called customer service and explained, we were told they would send replacement flowers to the recipient but we had wanted them for the funeral, so there was no point in having a replacement. My mom was told she’d receive a “reimbursement” within 3-4 days, but that would only cover shipping/handling and about 1/6th the cost of the arrangement. We never would have ordered what they sent. We are VERY disappointed. We will not be buying from FTD again.

Ordered flowers roses same day delivery, with balloon. Called 4 hours later to see if they would make it and they said they needed substitute for flowers, assured me they could deliver the same day. It was my anniversary so I did not want to tip my wife off. At 530 I called her to see if she received a delivery at work, she had not. I explained and she called FTD and they had flowers on hold still for substitution, could deliver the next day but removed the same day delivery charge. My wife informed them she would not be at work the following day if they could please deliver on Wednesday. The flowers showed up on Tuesday…I called frustrated and they agreed to redeliver another set on Wednesday. My wife gets to work on Wednesday and I had ordered 24 roses and they delivered 12 no balloon. The second delivery Im certain will not arrive. Reached out to FTD and they refunded me the flowers. Just absolutely terrible service all around. Ruined the day and 6 phone calls later did not deliver as promised.

Very disappointed?. Paid a lot of money for the Flowers that I thought we’re going to get sent and didn’t instead it was something else! They shouldn’t have the flowers on the site and then not be able to get them! Very disappointing! Instead, something that the quality of the flowers sucked! Never again to costly for what I got! One minute said they give a full refund—-next minute an almost $25 refund on flowers that ended up costing me over $75 dollars!!! And a ten dollar coupon which I will just throw away???

I would have given zero, if an option. Used to be the premier source for flowers. Sub-par product delivered and horrendous customer service. Filed via email, two complaints about my order, received two requests to send photos, complied and got a sorry excuse about substitutions. What was sent as a gift, was NOTHING like the web photo. Hydrangeas were subsitituted with mums. I suggest deferring to 1-800-FLOWERS

Tried to place a same day order. Paid with credit card. Got the confirmation email. I then receive a phone call where a woman tries to speak over a recording and then hangs up. Call back it's FTD. The financial department needs to verify some information regarding my credit card. I go along with the basic questions until they ask me what bank my credit card originates from. Why do they need to know that. Try to cancel the order. They say they can't. The order will be canceled by the system in 24 hours and my credit card will be refunded. If they already charged my card, what needed to be verified? Never again!

They delivered someone else’s order to my daughter. I paid for same day delivery. Now it’s a day later and they still have not corrected their mistake. I sent 4 emails and all were automated responses. I called and same deal, automated attendant. I’m out $133, no refund. Don’t know how I’ll get my money back. But worst of all, a disappointment for my daughter. If I don’t get a call back today, I’m going to the BBB.

Orders an arrangement for a funeral the total cost was over $90.00. I was so embarrassed. We ordered the white sympathy arrangement and received 4 small individual plants not in a basket or planter. I would not recommend this company for your flower needs.

Ordered a Bonsai Tree with blooms for my mother for mother’s day. It arrived on time but had no blooms and covered in some sort of bugs. My mother is 89 years old. How can she be expected to deal with the insects? I notified FTD. They apologized and said they would deliver a new order at equal or less value. Since my mother’s birthday is coming soon I ordered a bouquet in a happy birthday vase. It was an equal value. They said it wasn’t available in the delivery area. What?!!. They said pick something else. I chose a bouquet in a simple vase again of equal value. They canceled the order and said they are refunding my money. No explanation. I’m guessing they were hoping I would choose a lesser valued arrangement. I gave one star because at least they will be refunding my money. Lesson learned from FTD.

We and the organization that we’re with have been working with FTD for years. They have been good until recently. I’m very sad and disappointed. For Mother’s Day I spent a pretty penny to have a big bouquet of tulips sent to our house in a vase for my Wife who is a Mother of 6. The package arrived without them notifying us and upside down. I was so excited for her to open it. When she did we were shocked . There wasn’t a single tulip. It contained upside down damaged filler flowers that were sickly. I right away got on the phone with FTD and waited and waited. I gave up on that and sent them a message through their customer service link, wanting a full refund. I received no confirmation email or response after waiting for days. Finally I saw that they gave me a $20 discount. Very disappointing!! I use them for work. Now I’m afraid that other people that I’ve sent flowers to have experienced the same thing!
Thank you FTD for responding. I will remove this negative review if there’s a positive outcome.
