This goodwill is known for jacking up the prices on clothes/shoes/bags, on brands THEY think are special. For example, 15 year old skinny ponte pants (totally out of style) from J Crew for $10. They think anything J Crew, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, etc, are super premium. It’s funny at times, but really cringy when I see an out-dated and beat up Anthropologie top for $15. They also think Michael Kors is super high end, even though any research will tell you that NO ONE wants that brand anymore. Who ever is pricing here, is very out of touch

A Hidden Gem in Downers Grove!
I absolutely love this Goodwill location—the design and layout make it feel like I’m shopping at Nordstrom! The atmosphere is clean, modern, and surprisingly upscale for a thrift store. The product selection is phenomenal, with everything from fashion and home goods to unique finds you won’t see anywhere else.
Prices are unbeatable, and the quality of items is consistently impressive. On top of that, the staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even better. Whether you're hunting for a designer piece or just browsing for fun, this store delivers.
Highly recommend checking it out—you might walk in looking for one thing and leave with a cart full of treasures!

Lately , this goodwill has gone downhill. They sell, crap and gotten very expensive. Use to sell nice things. You can buy new in a store which may even be cheaper! I agree with other reviews. Also, the resellers have gotten out of hand. They are so rude and fight with people over carts! I was innocently looking at something on a cart they just brought out, and some resellers almost knocked me over! Be careful goodwill, because if I get hurt, a lawsuit will be on you since it’s on your property. Get some rules. And the store manager never smiles or talks with customers. Geez ,at least say good afternoon, when walking by!

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. It used to be one of the nicer Goodwills, but over the past year it has gone downhill. I was in there on Saturday and everything was just tossed on the shelves...no organization whatsoever. There was also a horrific smell that reeked of B.O. and crap. Do better. The outlet in Romeoville is cleaner.

Sold me a cracked screen, the old cashier said we haven’t returned nothing in 6 years! As if that means anything!

Only good thing about the store is what people donate ask the cashier how his day was, and he yelled at me that he was tired, Pretty much didn’t communicate with me right he was just being overly aggressive towards me. I don’t know why When he came time to put my store experience, he grabbed the machine and put “great” on with out my permissions. I understand hiring a seniors is a good part of the community, but there’s some seniors who are just too grumpy to do customer service

Was the only person wearing a mask because stores are dusty and there were workers (who arent even wearing anything indicating that they work there) staring at me and one came up asking if I needed help finding anything. At a thrift store? Weird.

Great pricing for their products! Very well organized for the consumer to find what they want.
An employee named Billy was exceptionally helpful!

This store is very well organized and clean. All employees were friendly. There are attractive seasonal and color coordinated displays. A cashier named Jon Paul was extremely helpful, he carefully wrapped all glass and explained their current pricing policy. (I’ve been to other Goodwills that don’t wrap anything.)

I do like this Goodwill location, however like any goodwill, you have to be prepared for mild dirtiness and a chaotic environment. I typically find quality items here for myself and in the home section. It’s definitely in my rotation of goodwills!
