“Local Walgreens always provides me friendly, helpful service... Even in the midst of the Covid pandemic! With few exceptions, supply chain has been more than satisfactory.”

“I enjoy shopping at this location.Monica is so friendly and helpful all the time. She knows exactly where every item in the store is. I’ve never stumped her.Sue is the same at the register. She smiles at me and we chat (while she works) about life as a cashier (I’m one too) in today’s COVID-19 world.Always a nice experience.”

“I feel called to share my experience as a patient who has multiple monthly refills at this Walgreens.

I was standing in line last night for my meds and someone was being publicly awful to the kind and respectful PhT ringing patients up. While waiting for my meds, I’ve seen folks get kinda scary (yelling, verbal abuse, acting threatening) towards pharmacy staff over some perceived inconvenience, and while I get that medication holdups are frustrating, it’s unacceptable behavior.

And look, I’ve been on multiple monthly fills for a decade at this point. I’ve run into “refill too soon” and random arbitrary delays that force you to call, wait on hold, etc. They suck, they’re frustrating, but ultimately the pharmacist can’t change the laws and magically fill my stuff at my leisure. There’s a system here, one built to protect patients, and it’s one I’ve learned how to follow despite it being a little inconvenient at times.

I consider the pharmacy staff to be one of the most important members of my care team. They make sure everything is safe, correct, and on time. I wish more people could understand just how much goes into a single prescription fill. They aren’t just counting pills.

I used to have to micromanage and coordinate every monthly fill, but since switching back to this Walgreens - everything is much smoother. I usually give them one call to ensure receipt of my scripts and stock (sometimes things get snagged in their system). The pharmacist here always orders my ADD meds so I don’t have to deal with shortages, thank god.

On top of it all - this pharmacy has been sooooo freaking busy lately. Everyone is running around, doing like 16 different things at once, yet they manage to always come through for me.

I wouldn’t be able to manage my chronic illness without the help of Walgreens Pharmacy staff on 1000 Ogden.”

“Jim, an older gentleman at the register was extremely nice and helpful. If the rest of the staff are like him then I could definitely highly recommend this store.”

“This is the 1st time I have used CVS to make my photo Christmas cards and I was pleasantly surprised as to how user-friendly their website was.But -- I REALLY want to commend the staff at the brick & mortar store on 63rd & Main in Downers Grove, IL. First off, my cards were ready more than an hour earlier than promised. When I arrived at the store, there was a sign directing me to stand in the check-out line for service at the photo counter. I was in line only a minute when a sweet, friendly clerk - ROSETTA - came to help. She got my order behind the counter and even told me to take a look at a card to make sure it was OK. As she handed me the paper bag, she had second thoughts and said she would put it in a plastic bag also because of the weather. I realize this is simply her job there, but she was so polite, friendly and helpful that I could NOT let things go unnoticed. CVS, you have an awesome employee in Rosetta!”
