718 South Washington Street, Du QuoinMy dog had acted really weak and strange very suddenly. I called Dr. Purdel and he got her in within 30 minutes of me calling. He knew something major was going on and did bloodwork and it turned out to be a really rare blood disease where ahe was destroyingher own blood cells. He started her on medicine immediately. I researched the disease on the internet and apparently most dogs with that disease don't survive. She was so bad i thought she wouldn't survive the week. Dr. Purdel called us even on days when his office was closed to check up on her. 3 months later and my dog is doing wonderful and there are no signs of the disease. Nothing short of a miracle. I'm so thankful to Dr. Pirtle and his staff!

1277 South Washington Street, Du QuoinOur pup had to have surgery on her tail. ? Everyone was kind and patient. I asked a lot of questions. They answered all of them and they are also the most affordable veterinary clinic in Southern Illinois. Cherry is doing much better.

8365 IL-14, Du QuoinAdopted my dog Joey from here over a decade ago. He's changed my life dramatically for the better. Without him there's no wife, no kids, and less joy in the world. He was my wingman for my first date with my lovely wife.
Now that I have kids, he's a frustration (because of stuff like in the pic) but he's still my dude.
Thanks so much for rescuing him - he was beat up (bad paw and had worms, erc), but yall took him in. I've donated much in the past here, but haven't in a bit. When his birthday rolls around, I'll be sure to again.
