Hurstbox seems like a promising company. But ultimately these mega carriers don't give 2 s**** about your life.Or anything and will throw you to the wolves bulls and don't help you succeed These mega carriers they just don't give 2 s**** about the driver's situation or life.So they will throw you into the wolves den And the dedicated accounts They assign you with the Most unprofessional driver leading I've ever.
Had a sign to me

The company does not align with the values of the country in which it operates. Discrimination against certain countries and nationalities is shameful for any company. Think carefully before applying for a job or using this company’s services, as your interests and rights may be compromised.

I've heard that this company is only offering $90 a day for training pay! Any truth to that? If that is what they are offering they way way too low in this trucking industry!

This company is garbage. They purchased John Christner Trucking and ruined it. When we brought problems to their attention they would not even get back with us with a solution. The easiest thing that we ever did was quit. 😂. No one said anything to us. We turned our truck in and left. They claim that they are “family” but JCT was actually a big family. The owner likes to say “Veteran Owned” but they outsource to India to handle calls at night. Very patriotic lol. At least they spare a veteran the misery of having a job there. I’m a U.S. Marine myself and the best day of my life over the past 2 years was the day I left. Stress, anxiety and depression gone! 6 years I gave JCT my all and this was my reward. Danny Christner you will be missed forever ❤️. He would call and ask us if there is anything we need. He appreciated his drivers. The company died with him.

The hiring process was smooth and easy but once I got to my account things changed…..I was on the LIDL account under a manager named Casey and she made it seem like it was a family oriented place and she doesn’t lose drivers. Her trainer Chris took me out and on my second day of training he was not very attentive to my driver or backing leaving me to back into a store dock I’ve never been to while it was pouring down to the point I couldn’t see and in that time I backed into a fence. I have no problem accepting my fault but Chris assured me it would not be an issue and that he would handle it if anyone asked. Later that night my guard grill chipped a small piece of a brick wall and Chris acted as if I put a hole in the wall and we weren’t even sure I did that. They ended up reporting those incidents to my DAC and made it seem like I backed into a brick wall and labeled me non hireable stating that they had concerns with my backing even though I was left alone by her trainer in pouring down rain at a location I was not familiar with. I don’t know about y’all but I’m pretty sure trainers don’t leave new hires until they are very sure.
