“We recently purchased a nice power recliner at Coal Valley Family Furniture and we are very pleased with our purchase! Prices are very reasonable for both new and gently used furniture and the show room is stocked with a nice variety of furniture. This is a family run store offering good service and a good value for your dollar. Easy to get to - look for the big white lighted sign, blue lettering, located on the north side of Hwy6 (W 1st Ave) just east of the Moline airport. The next time we need furniture we will definitely shop at Coal Valley Family Furniture. Check it out!”

“Wonderful experience. I explained to L&W bedding my needs and my budget and they came up with the perfect mattress. I would post a review on the mattress but it was custom made for my needs and is not a certain model that they carry. It's two-sided flippable and my back feels great after a week of sleeping on it. I shopped other area mattress stores that advertise two-sided mattresses but with them it was nothing but high pressure sales. I recommend L&W.”

“Definitely not what I was expecting for a furniture store. I have been in quite a few in my lifetime and every single one of them, someone follows you around like a criminal, and or is consistently trying to sell you their most expensive products. Not the case here. The owner was very pleasant to talk to, very attentive and listened to me as I described what I was looking for as well as what it was to be used for. He showed me several examples and didn’t scoff when I mentioned my budget. In fact, he went above and beyond to find a perfect fit within my price range. I also consulted his business associates, a group of cute lil puppies who are more than happy to show you around. Price wise, he does have some pricy items but he has nice budget options as well depending on what you’re looking for. As far as the item I purchased, the quality seems good and it works as it should. So far so good. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!”

“Prices have gone way up. Smaller items are still reasonable. If you wait for the sales it's pretty reasonable on everything. You never know what you will find there. I check it out almost every week.”
“It's Target. What you see is what you get. Checkout lines can be long at times. Definitely more than two people per line, but that is typical of most places "post Covid". Starbucks inside is solid. Inventory diversity is solid but quantities can be low. Produce is hit or miss.”
