“Honestly, this is my favorite Goodwill store that is in the Peoria area. They have a plethora of plus size clothing in pants, shirts, dresses, and blouses. Which most of the resale shops I go to do not have many offerings for past size large. They also have a good variety of knick knacks and most of them are in great condition. Some items are even brand new with tags. I bought a video game for $2.00 today which is a great price. Will be back again and again.”
“Thank you so much to Peoria Heights Helping Hands for their generous donation to Foster Village Peoria! Their contributions to the charities in our community make a huge impact & are very much appreciated! -Cheriz Kunkel (Co-Founder/Executive Director Foster Village Peoria)”
“It's not really my place to say good or bad because i was brought here by someone else but it has urban artifacts, and a ton of them. It's like a museum where you can buy the exhibits if you want. Lots of nostalgia. Even if you don't buy It's cool to look and check out”
“Always so much to look at. I always find kids clothes and in perfect condition. You won't go out empty handed... make sure you have cash as they don't take any other payments”
“Highly Recommend! This is one of the best priced, organized and BESTof the BEST in name brand gently used merchandise EVER! The Staff is Professional, Friendly and helpful. SHOUT OUT to store manager who's doing an AMAZING job!”
“I JUST ASK TODAY IF THIS PLACE WAS STILL THERE .I HAVE TO GO tHERE EVERYTiME IAM IN PEKIN I love going there..What a joy to hear they are still open .THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GO. when we come up come up from alabama.”

“I was very fortunate to adopt a senior dog that was the only Brussels Griffon that PFS ever had. Suzy-Q died this past year at age 20! I'm sure I'd she could, she would tell you that her last 9 years were the best of her life! She was quite the support dog, always watching out for me.When she died I ended up going to Forever Home's Open House to see all the cats. I wasn't intending to adopt, just wanted to see what the shelter was like.I've always been a "Cat Mom" and when I adopted a dog everyone was shocked. So back to the Shelter there was a cat whose name was Jinn and she loved on me! As most of you know, we don't choose a cat, they choose you. It took a few weeks though and when I was ready I called and Jinn was still there waiting for me! She now living in her happy Forever Hone. Her name is Jeanie and she loves me ( and vice versa). Thank goodness for Pets for Seniors and for Saving! Jeanie has never acted like she had been caged all the time, never scared as many shelter animals are. Thanks to her Foster family she adapted to her furever home furever!”
“We like the Restore and have found many reasonably priced items for remodeling projects. We checked the holiday hours on the website as we planned to come from out of town and shop for some upcoming remodeling needs. The website said the store would be closed Dec.23-26, 2023 and would reopen on Dec. 27. This seemed reasonable as we want all people to have the opportunity to rest and celebrate, and since the store is usually closed on Mondays, which was Christmas day, it seemed only right they should receive Tuesday off. We were surprised and disappointed to see a computer printed paper on the door stating the store would be closed through the New Year's holiday when we arrived today, December 27. We planned our entire day around coming to Peoria to shop. Please keep the website up to date with store hours.”
“The outside tries to fool you. It is larger and filled with more treasures than you'd think. Some booths are overpriced, particularly with pyrex and corningware but most booths are priced fair. This is a must stop for the antique store enthusiast. Especially fans of the 70s.”
“The absolute cutest ladies work there. I had such a pleasant time helping one of them with their phone and shopping. Not to mention i found some cute clothes and a great price! My new favorite place!!”
“If you see our threads, it’s head to toe Goodwill 24 seven 365. That’s how we stay fresh to death and can spend that dough out there busting a flow on the dance floor. lol”
“Great little thrift store. Never know what you may find.
Thee only downfall is the workers deal with all sorts of people and you can tell by the end of the day. In general they are all courteous and polite.”

“The team, including many awesome volunteers, do an excellent service of pointing the homeless to the only person that can redeem and change him/her, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the work you do for our community's men and women.”
“⭐ 5-Star Review for Goodwill ⭐
I’ve had a great experience shopping at Goodwill! It’s more than just a thrift store — it’s a place where you can find unique items at affordable prices while supporting a meaningful community mission.
Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the variety of clothing, books, home goods, and accessories — many of them in excellent condition. The stores are usually bright, organized, and easy to shop in. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
What makes it even better is knowing that every purchase supports job training programs and employment services in the local community. Shopping at Goodwill truly feels like giving back while finding great deals. Highly recommend!”
“owner is nice and welcoming, very easy to strike a conversation with and has a wonderful energy. shop is genuinely one of a kind, i have yet to find something like it in this area. always fun finds and new goodies to explore. i could spend hours in here!! i have taken all of my friends to good karma and they just instantly fall in love”
“I love going in to shop, the sales people are the best. Don’t mind spending the time to help you find what you are looking for. I’d give them a 10 if I could!”

“The Pekin, IL is my absolute favorite Goodwill location. Everything is very organized and the staff is so friendly! Special thanks to Diane, who was so helpful, and just started my day off with a great attitude ⭐️”
“Absolutely loved shopping here, prices are all so fair. Neat and organized, aisles are easy to navigate, and each section is labeled so you know what you're looking at. There are even seasonal sections to help you find what you're looking for faster. Definitely recommend.”
“A lot of cool furniture and random stuff to look through. Men's section is a little small compared to other similar sized places though.Great place to check out every now and then”
“This is my second favorite goodwill in Peoria as I find the store to always be crowded. They also have a weird bric and brac aisle that often is in the dark (bad overhead lights).”
“The cost of fixing a home can add up. As a first time home buyer habitat for humanity has helped me and my family out by being reasonable with prices. The things there are lighted used and people are willing to help!”
“I Love love love this place in love the volunteers there not the problem the problem is the people I can't even go in there and shop today I had a lady run up and take somthing right out of my hand I love this place but the community is ruining it after today I am not sure if I will come back unless they are not busy”
