“My 4 year old and I visited today for the first time. The owner did a wonderful job showing us around, asking about our interests, and helping us find some great picks. She started with my son and once he'd grabbed books like it was a library, she showed him where he could peruse his finds so I could have the chance to find something for myself. She helped him find a bookmark he was excited about, which she makes herself. She also helped me reinforce the book limit I set for him, even though he ended up deciding to use his own earned money on the rest he'd selected. She even asked me first if he could pick a candy, which I especially appreciated since my other child has a food allergy. The books are in very good condition, for having all been donated. We had a nice afternoon enjoying our new books and will definitely be back!”
“Small but well-stocked comic shop with a decent-sized selection of back issues and current run comics, with a smaller collection of new Hardcover and Paperback books in the front of the store, rounded out with a handful of collectibles. Friendly staff and a very "neighborhood" feel to the shop.”
“When I walked in I was asked if I needed Enything. And I really wanted a book that they didn't have so they asked me if I would like to order it. I was very pleased.”
“The store was very clean and packed with goodies! We brought all of our daughter's young children's books and got almost $20 back. My wife was able to get a couple of new books for herself and with the trade out, we only paid .49¢ for both of them. There are also a ton of video games for PlayStation and Xbox, so if you ever need an extra few dollars, bring your books, CD's, video games or DVD's and they will take care of you. Friendly staff too!”
“Every time my daughter returns home, we are off to Town House for lunch. The outdoor patio has a quaint European flair. The food is consistently good. Soups & desserts amazing! The book shop is an added bonus! We are fortunate to have this wonderful place in our community.”
