To be sure I wasn't being scammed, I contacted Lakeside bank to verify the routing number as well as the final 6-digits of the account number. I was fortunate to get one of the bank VP's on the line (Roxanne Rain) and she was ultra helpful at helping me verify that MGM Classic Cars was legit, that the bank info was legit and she even checked their Illinois business registration while we spoke to verify they were a legit business. I hung up with Roxanne and immediately wired the money to the business. Roxanne is awesome, thanks so much Roxanne! I now have my 1987 Mustang GT here in NJ... :)”
“Great community bank. They service all your checking, savings and other banking needs, plus they are a great lender for both owner occupied as well as investment properties. Their loan fees and rates are extremely good, and unlike the large national banks, CBE realizes not everyone has the same situation and they will design a loan specifically for your needs. I have been working with them for just about 10 years and I have never been dispointed wth any account or loan I have taken with them. Mark, Joe, Dina, Helen, John, are just a few of their first class staff. They are all extremely professional, yet treat you like an old friend. They will be my bank and lender till retirement which because of their advice and help over the years will come sooner then expected. “This is 1 of the few banks my family has not done business with yet...to my knowledge. On Aug 21st, I went in looking for anyone who could help me figure out my ESOP paperwork. Several other banks - including my "Top 3" investment banker- claimed they didn't know anything about ESOP.Without an acct, or history of any kind, I was directed to Chris Motiz's corner office. He was kind, soft-spoken, seemed to understand the distress I was trying to hide, was patient, & didn't hesitate to help someone with no connection to the bank who walked in on a whim. In those 30min, he treated me with more respect, kindness, empathy than I'd experienced in a long time.He patiently explained the forms to me, which turned out were as easy as 1st imagined. It was the 2nd packet of forms that inserted complete confusion into a simple transaction. That packet was not needed at all.I can't put into words how him taking a few minutes of his day to be kind to a stranger, with no expectations, meant to me in that moment. I thanked him for his kindness & assured him I'd see him again soon.About a week later, I brought my 18yr old son back to open his 1st checking & savings accounts. While going thru that process, I overhead other bankers speaking with their clients, in person & on the phone. Everyone was just as human. Turns out, Chris was not a fluke. This made my decisions that much more certain. I'm looking fwd to doing more business with them in the near future.My family used the banks wisely during the 70's & 80's to increase our family funds. (Impressively so) I learned the secrets of how to grow your money by just being present & paying attention. For as long as I can recall, nearly every wknd I'd been dragged along with my mom & gram to different banks. Back when they were buzzing with ppl, twice or three times the size they are today. When we knew the ppl who managed our money & they knew us. When they would actually do what was in the customer's best interest vs their own. Or worse - just not caring at all.That's how I felt after working with this 5th Third location. That comfortably, safe sense of being able to trust someone to do you right.If I could give this location 100 stars, I would.”

“Everyone here is super friendly. I had work and I got there right at 9am when they opened... they opened a few minutes, not worth taking any stars away once they explained they were training someone new. Everyone was super friendly and considerate to your needs! I was able to get my bank business done by 9:05AM and on my way to work for the day. They definitely helped me. Previous experience: I always use the ATM at this site because you can deposit cash and checks in addition to regular ATM functions. Once I left my debit card in the ATM because of the chip, didn't realize for 12+ hours later. Upon realizing contacted this location and they closed my debit card so no one could use it (proactive!) and said they could print me a new one if I came in. Needless to say I went in the same day and was in and out within 15 minutes. What a relief! The have English, Spanish and Polish speakers at this location. Great to help anyone. Wish they had longer hours but it's like almost any bank these days”
