“Bottles & Cans provided the wine/pop for our wedding and did an incredible job. Carly did a tasting with us, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us to pick out the perfect wines. The shop was so welcoming. Everything was so personalized and customizable. Honestly one of our favorite vendors to work with, everything felt curated and special but not fussy or overpriced. Some of the bottles we ended up serving are definitely going to be go-tos in our house in the future.”
“Kol Tuv is a hidden gem on Devon Ave in Chicago. It is a specialty grocery store that carries an eclectic variety of foods that cater to all different populations. They have all the items you would find in a typical grocery store plus gluten free, dairy free, kosher, gourmet etc. When you go, you must check out the selection of chocolates and candies. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is immaculate. This store makes grocery shopping fun and exciting! Hope you love it as much as we do!”

“Not only are the sandwiches seriously amazing, but I have to give a huge shoutout to the team for making the situation right after our Uber driver “delivered” the food when it was nowhere to be found. They went above and beyond and remade our entire order and personally delivered it to us. “It is so clear that this is a passion project. Everything in this store is carefully thought out. Nearly every bottle has a handwritten paragraph about it. There is so much variety packed into one little shop without the snobbery you might find at comparable places. Price points at all levels, too! Also, Thursday wine tastings are so much fun! I have learned so much about wine from going to these tastings when I can. Everyone that works here is super knowledgeable and patient. My husband and I bring our 3 young kids and everyone is always so cool and understanding. I would give it more stars if I could!”

“This liquor store has a wide variety of Liquors, mixed drinks and pizza, their chicken tikka pizza is very good lots of spices and flavor and their drinks are much colder than Oakton liquors, but i say that Lyons Beverage Depot and Oakton Liquors are probably the only liquor stores to go to”

“Love Joong Boo Market. I can find great produce, Korean seasonings, seasoned seaweed, dumplings, marinated bulgogi, and so much more. It's like a mini Asian Costco.

“I went in looking for cachaça— hard to find, but I thought to myself, “if anywhere has it, they have it here.” Looked for a while to no avail, and although the cachaça wasn’t in the main section, the very helpful staff didn’t allow me to leave until I’d found what I was looking for, and called the owner to locate where the cachaça was and make sure I left with what I needed. Thank you!”

“Have shopped here for a few years now and love this place, so glad to have them in the neighborhood. Today I went in and basically accused them of a mistake from the day before. They graciously explained how it wasn't really possible and I quickly saw that my claim was silly. At no point did they make me feel bad or anything. I have no doubt that any of the guys working here would have provided the same kind service.
Love how there's always multiple new and interesting things in the coolers (tbh I'm not a wine/spirits person). When I've asked questions on my picks, they always have answers. Surprising, given the selection they have.

“Clark Haus is family to me at this point. I've lived in this neighborhood for like 13 years and they've been there whenever I need to grab something quick, more complex, have questions, need help, to scare away creepy men following me around, and everything in between. This day and age, its so special & rare to have a place you feel safe & seen and know has your back. I feel like I'm in a small town rather than a big city whenever I stop in. Zach is amazing. I cannot sing his praises enough and I owe him my life TBH lol. His brother Sam is the sweetest, so is his wife, and all the crew that work there are just incredible, helpful, funny and supportive. I just absolutely love this place and they know it. But I wanted it on record too. I will be a lifelong customer and I'm so happy to have you guys! Love you all! -Kara :)”
“This is my go to spot when I’m buying stuff for home. Today was the first time I went in and wasn’t exactly sure what I should get/needed but had a list of various things. I asked for suggestions/help, unbelievable customer service. They knew where everything was in the store, what was the best choice based on event/what I was trying to make.
