“I still rave about this place. I don't know if the owner is still Scott with his sweet lil dog that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but every trip there was like a brief vacation or break from life. Scott would bust out his laser pointer and show you which region on the map (that he painted) the spirit or wine came from... man I've tried so many great spirits and wines there... I moved before he really got into the beer side of things but he did have a really cool corner of boutique bitters made by little old ladies in different parts of the globe... I always tell friends going to Chicago that this spot is a must see for any person who loves a good wine & spirits shop.”

“Love supporting a local business. The checkout line can be a little rough. Customers seem to not pay attention to the line formed unless you're right up against the person in front of you. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store prices could be a little more distinct. Some items are difficult to know the price of prior to checkout. Love the variety of snacks and candy.”

“Best place to buy great tequila. Moreno's has knowledge and experience about tequila and knows what the aficionado wants. Any NOM worth buying you'll find it here.”

“Amazing selection for a small neighborhood shop. Fantastic beers from the top breweries around the country (and world), solid wines and liquors, and a very good selection of non-alcoholic alternatives like beer, wine, liquor, as well as a few THC-infused drinks now. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well, and they host tastings pretty often which is fun.”

“Thank you guys for checking out my review for you today I want to talk about one of my favorite establishments A&S beverages wine and spirits located on Halsted. Being in the Mixology industry for so many years it's often difficult to find establishments that carry everything that I need when I do events or when I happen to be training bartenders one thing's for sure and two things for certain that this establishment is the One-Stop shop for all your needs you are greeted with welcoming smiles and friendly hellos there is a very homely presence whenever you are in any of the three locations you will quickly notice the eye-catching displays and the different selection of spirits and wines one of my favorite Spirits would be tequila and rum anyone that knows me I like Jamaican Apple Puerto Rican rum Dominican rum Brazilian rum and when it comes to Tequila I like more of a robust taste so I really mostly lean towards a very good aged Reposado or anjeoAlso for my cigar lovers there is an amazing selection of premium cigars and also there are hookah starter kits and there's even something for customers who might not want any alcohol there are tons of non-alcoholic wines beers and beverages don't take my word from it just stop by and experience the world class customer service that Eddie and his team have to offer.”

“Can I put 10 stars?! Hands down one of the best liquor stores in the Chicago area. Every time I’m in Chicago, I make sure to stop by. Sometimes I leave with a sad face but most of the time with a big smile ? Great prices! Affordable! Great specials! I collect tequila bottles and this the place with the rarest, extensive collection of bottles. My biggest issue is when I go, I don’t know which bottle to take home! It’s a little overcrowded, but definitely a place to check out!”

“Amazing local deli with terrific, fresh ingredients. Lots of hard to find bottles of liquor and wine are available for purchase while as well (which I enjoy browsing while I wait for my sandwiches).Complimentary coffee is often available while you dine in, which has helped me many a morning. If you’re lucky, and come early enough on Sunday, they occasionally provide a complimentary Italian cookie for your coffee as well.Have only had the best meals, beer, wine and experiences from this location.”

“A hard-to-find bottle of bourbon showed up on social media at the store. I called to see if they had it and they said that unfortunately they were sold out. Keisha actually called me back to let me know that they had found one remaining bottle, which she told me to come in for! To find someone like Keisha who was sympathetic to my situation and went out of the way to make my day and week was amazing. So thankful for real people who care about the customer. Thanks to Keisha and thanks Binny's Lincoln Park!”

“Great place for wine, liquor, and all your spirit needs. Very friendly service here and got some free tasting of Champagne here. It was a pleasant experience and the place is organized very well. Will definitely be coming back when we need more alcoholic beverages.”

“Perhaps one of the cleanest spots. Staff is extremely polite and unusually kind. Talk about excellent customer service. I don't understand how the prices a third less expensive while the quality exceeds all expectations. Hands down the best liquor spot ever.”

“Excellent, literally perfect shrimp tacos like Cali style. Chicken burritos are always great but they’re made differently every time which is a little annoying, I wish they could be more consistent with the ratios. The wait times can be frustrating as well as it can take over 20min to get your order unless you order for takeout. The lines get really packed at peak hours. I’ve seen plenty of people leave bc the line was just unruly. They could make some improvements with efficiency.”

“Cute bar. Wish they had any other n/a beer besides Athletic but hey. Seems like a fun queer leaning space. Glad it’s there… but they really should take cash.”

“Really great wine store! The staff is also incredibly helpful. I will often come here saying "I am looking for something that tastes like a pinot nior, or pinot gris, etc." and they can easily point me in the right direction of a unique natural wine similar in flavor profile. We are so lucky to have such a cool wine store in this neighborhood!”

“Only the best place to shop for all things of personal joy. The owner is the best… even if he’s never around ?. The head of operations, Matt, is the best meditating buff boy! He knows all the answers to your questions. Make sure you visit this place weekly to truly get the feeling that you are part of something bigger than just a store. A misfit family, always looking for new applicants of wonder. The music.. forever on point in the store. Cameron will beat you any day at Beerio Kart and charm your socks off.GO NOW!”

“Great cocktails. On the stronger side. Tried 3, the French Quarter (amazing aroma and strong taste reminds you of a classic cocktail with a subtle flair), Winter Rendezvous (smooth, hints of spice notes, sought alcohol bite, and smokey rounded finishes each sip, not as aromatic as the first), and the Kentucky Tiramisu (imagine a tiramisu in the firm of a drink which a small slice of tiramisu)I love the place, just wish it was cozier, moodier lighting, couches. Carpet, tapestry up to block the outside, more speakeasy vibe.”

“I just don't think the other review is an accurate representation of this store. Maybe it was a misunderstanding like they were trying to make sure he was able to legally purchase his beer by getting to the register in time.”

“Love this wine shop. It's an intimate space and seating is 1st come 1st served. They offer more than wine (liquor & beer) and they have non-alcoholic options. I discovered the Gruvi (alcohol removwd red wine) brand here. They have small bites that are actually pretty delicious. It's also a beverage depot so if you dont want to sit, pick a bottle and go!”

“The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of their merchandise. The price is a bit pricier than some other liquor stores a little south and west of them, but the convenience of the location is great.”

“It was our anniversary. We were treated generously from the moment we sat down. We had mussels, carrots, mushroom (bartola), and lamb ribs. Everything was excellent: service and food. The dishes were unlike anything we've had elsewhere. Our new favorite restaurant. We'll be back often.”

“They're not like 7-Eleven ignorant dumbass MF that don't appreciate your business and you don't have to tell them so many times before they get your numbers right & they're so friendly with their customer I just love them too much”

“I stopped in here after stopping at almost a dozen other stores looking specifically for a bottle of Uncle Nearest, but also any great local bourbon that I could be pointed in the direction of, as I'm in town from Florida. Not a single one of the many stores I stopped in prior had anyone who seemed to be knowledgeable on the inventory and friendly, Vas Foremost was a totally different story. When we walked in we were greeted by a woman who wanted to know what we wanted and if she could help us find those items. She wasnt familiar but immediately got another gentlemans attention who took us right to the Uncle Nearest (if u are in Chicago and looking for it, they have 4 more bottles) and he then pointed me to a great locally distilled bourbon that was Fantastic. Highly recommend going here, wide selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great prices.”
