I was there to deal with their mistakes, and they had me call the customer service myself. When I asked what the correct number was, they even had me Google it myself. Not helpful.

It was only one employee NAMED DAVID and I gave him my phone number to pay without logging in and HE STILL TOOK AN PHOTO of my ID then he gave me some made up lie about he couldn’t login and etc. I don’t like how he snapped a picture of my Drivers license instead of scanning it from the back

My son and I came in because we didn't understand why our bill was higher than the last one. Jerold was so helpful. He thoroughly reviewed our account and locationed the issue. Despite he was the only one present in store, he was courtesy and helpful to the crowd that came in after us.

This is a highly negative review, not based on the personalities of the staff, they were all great. It is based on their Competence.
I came to the store on Sunday On July 13 to get help with damaged phone. It was damaged due to fall which scrambled screen pixels rendering phone unusable. The phone could be connected and working through the Amazon Device, however there was no way to use the screen. Please let me mention that this is my work phone, and as I am a physician ( having my phone to answer calls was important).
The store manager, checked my policy and confirmed that I have insurance. I was told to wait till Monday to take the phone for repair. On Monday as I came to the repair store, I was told That the phone could not be repaired without an insurance claim. At that point, I went back to the store To initiate the claim. At the store, I was told that the device that was listed on my policy was not the device that I had on me. They could not explain how that occurred and stated it may have been a “ computer glitch“.
At this point, I have asked to correct the mistake and put in the right unit in the system. I was assured that this was corrected and the information would be “pulled up” automatically.
Nevertheless, when the claim was filed, it was denied due to the fact that the device listed under my policy was not the device in my possession on the day of the accident.
Ultimately, after three visits to the AT&T store, I was forced to purchase a new phone. I was also told that because I have purchased the phone, my insurance now will not cover my Previous device.
After Consideration of my options, I did call the insurance company back and was finally able to talk to the manager who approved repair.
In order to get my phone repaired, despite having insurance, it took Three visits to the AT&T store, a total of four claims with Assurion, Four hours of my personal time on the phone, And $1000 for a new phone as the old phone cannot be returned in the condition it was in.
The system is designed to cause as much difficulty as possible to prevent people to get their claim Resolved. That is the reason for a one Star review.
Hopefully that The management of the store will review Policy for insurance claims with their employees. Hopefully no one else has as miserable experience As I had with this issue.
