Online drops are a joke.
They sell out within 5seconds and will have you waiting in "digital line" for over an hour.
In the pursuit to "save consumers from scalpers" all Best Buy is doing is encouraging A.I. and bots to flood their systems.
At least GameStop and Target allow you to pick the items up in store, with real lines, dnd product limitations.

It seems like they are out of business. Most of the shelves are empty or disassembled. No wonder why Amazon is one of the best alternatives! No going back there!

I ordered something for dame day deliver at 11am, as of 730pm it was still not shipt, and not recieved. The store is closed and I am without a replacement TV.
I ordered it specifically when inwas going to be home all day for delivery.

I bought speakers online for store pick up, and as I was heading to the store they canceled my order. I still went inside and found the speakers I wanted and when asked up front why the original order was canceled he told me cause the item couldn’t be found. I’m just frustrated that I have to wait 10 days to get back $160 after having to spend $160 for the speakers that were in the store. The man up front wasn’t very helpful and wish I was at least offered a discount.
Hey Graham, to clarify the item was in stock. That’s why I was frustrated. There were two of them in stock but it was canceled because “it wasn’t there” but it was there. That’s why I was confused and annoyed.

We purchased a TV from this location today and the staff was nice and helpful - this is not a reflection on them.
Yesterday, we purchased an open box TV marked in Excellent Condition. When we got it home ready to install it, we realized the screen panel was detached from the bottom of the TV. We thought maybe this would be reparable, so I called two independent TV repair companies as well as Sony, and they all said this TV is damaged beyond repair and should absolutely be returned.
We brought it back today and bought the same TV new at full price, hoping that we may receive some type of small discount for the trouble and frustration as well as the fact that we were mislead that it was in Excellent Condition. We were told there was no way to discount the new TV and accepted purchasing it at its listed price. This all seemed fine, frustrating and expensive, but understandable that we couldn't get close to the open box price with a new TV.
However, as we were leaving, several employees saw the TV we returned and told us that staff was fully aware that the TV was broken prior to yesterday. They were surprised it was even sold because they told other employees not to sell it because it was so damaged.
We are really disappointed that we were purposely mislead and sold a completely defective TV. I'm not sure if this is a management issue or just an untrustworthy employee or two, but a really frustrating and disheartening experience lugging around a big TV two days in row due to dishonest sales practices.

If I could give this best buy 0 stars, I would. Spoke to an employee in hopes that I could purchase a new Macbook and was told to wait by the phones. Waited for around 45 minutes and no employee came to help. I’m looking around and seeing employees walking around, talking with each other, simply doing nothing. Super frustrating when you’re about to spend a lot of money on something and they don’t even bother to give you the time of day. Unbelievable. Ridiculous. Never giving Best Buy my business again.

Everytime I come to this Best Buy location I’m never greeted at the door. Always ignored. And all the employees act like you’re invisible. No one ever asks me if I need help. I went in today to make a $500 purchase (An Oculus 3) and no one even approached me. Employees were on their phones, or busy doing other things. I decided to take my money to a different location. As I walked out the guy at the door just stared at me as I left, didn’t even speak. I doubt I’ll ever come back to this location. I always feel like they do not care.

I had placed an order for a tv on January 01, 2024 to be delivered on Friday January 03,2024. Best Buy had indicated that the tv is being prepared on their app since 7am on the 3rd I contacted the 800 number for Best Buy and had indicated it's waiting on the the carrier. I tried to contact the Evanston's Best Buy and due to their automated gate keeper after 30 minutes I hung up. No one at their 800 number can inform me as to who the carrier that's picking up the tv. including as to the time I will receive it. Only double talk by informing me that I will receive a confirmation email. To which after 3pm I had received confirmation by text message. I've learned that they utilize Shipt for their delivery carrier. Shipt is owned by Target Corporation. I've never experienced such poor customer service in obtaining information and Shipt is even worse. I had considered buying a home copy machine to be delivered from Best Buy. No thank you. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy for delivery again. I will continue utilizing Walmart and Amazon for my future deliveries. At least I can actually speak with a live person and not going through Best Buy's automated gate keeper waiting for a half hour. Also be able to track my packages. Even Pet Smart and Home Depot uses Uber same day free delivery. I'm in a wheelchair and require home deliveries

Cellular data on phone not working. Tried to schedule geek squad repair. Make an account with Best Buy, then the website tells me it can’t schedule my appointment, and to call them. I can’t.
