There were a lot of off brand items for a arm & a leg nothing was discounted & very plain basic clothing you can find at forever 21 or something I did get white platforms burn there’s no cute accessories or rare items I wouldn’t recommend this place

I would not recommend selling your clothes to crossroads. I was super excited when I was waiting to check in and saw some marketing materials looking for extended sizes to add to their racks. I had been initially disappointed to only find 5 pieces in the whole store above an XL. I was looking forward to adding some of the pieces I brought into sell at their store.When it was time for me to check in with my buyer to complete the order, he told me that he wouldn’t be buying any of my pieces, but set asides 7 items from my bags that they would buy in the spring, but they didn’t have space to store them now. This was the followed by showing me other pieces from my bag that weren’t trendy enough while a group of people waited behind me to sell.I didn’t appreciate this interaction, and being told they didn’t have room to store the clothes when they have signs throughout asking for more sizes, which I provided in my bags to sell.This is not a brand that is looking to extend their sizes in stock, otherwise they would have made a more conscious effort when buying to reassess need for clothes.Aside from this the process to sell is very time consuming and inefficient sellers, leaving little room for sellers or shoppers to comfortable be in the store together.

I was extremely excited when I first learned about Crossroads. As someone who enjoys recycling and giving clothes a second chance, I thought it would be a great opportunity. I washed and pack all of my clothes, ending up with five bags to sell. Despite living in Des Plaines, I made the effort to drive to Crossroads, which was quite far. To my disappointment, they only bought two items after thoroughly checking all the bags. I was upset and frustrated because they didn't mention certain criteria on their website. For example, they only considered winter clothes during this season, which was not stated beforehand. Additionally, they don't accept brands like Forever, which was also not mentioned on their website. They had other requirements that were not clearly communicated anywhere. So how I supposed to know? I just felt that i wasted so much time for nothing! I am not sure i can recommend this service!

This is the most pretentious Thrift Shop I have ever had the displeasure of entering. Snobby women without any training pick and choose clothing based on their individual preferences and NOT what customers may want! No documented criteria. Total joke. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME SELLING CLOTHES HERE!

A very wide selection of clothes, you have to really look through everything to find the treasures so be patient. The ambiance and customer service is what really brings me back. Whoever is styling the mannequins is serving. Shoutout to Lucy for going above & beyond for me.

The staff here has exceptional customer service, some of the best I’ve noticed personally.. as a shopper overhearing the intensity coming from the people selling I was very impressed how the team handled it. The assistant manager is so sweet and caring thanks for your kindness.
