The female employees are always on their cell phones avoiding to make eye contact with customers because they never want to help. Management please watch your staff because they are getting paid to do absolutely NOTHING beneficial in the store.

What I imagine a pharmacy in an old, creaky communist country would be like.
Long lines, short tempered clerks. And no help finding and filling a prescription phones in well over 24 hours ago.
The pharmacy department is a mess.

Retail staff is nice. Giving one star because the pharmacists (at least the ones working Saturday 11/2) are the laziest and most unhelpful I’ve ever encountered. They were so concerned about closing for lunch that they couldn’t take two seconds to help me find a prescription I had already struggled to get because of limited hours/I work a lot. Speaking of working, I understand more than anyone the importance of a lunch break. But if I have a customer right in front of me, I’m inclined to help them. Or at least not be rude to a customer who, by the way, is in pain without my meds because you couldn’t wait 30 seconds to eat your soggy turkey sandwich

Rude and condescending staff. I think her name was Fatima. Just horrible attitude.
Apart from that, it's a CVS. What can you say? You go in. You buy medicine. You walk out.

I needed something from a locked case directly in front of the pharmacy. I stood by the window under a sign that read CONSULTATION. The person behind the counter looked at me then went back to typing.
Another person walked by and did the exact same thing. They each looked at me a second time and none of those times did they acknowledge me. I don't mean in a customer service sense, I meant even a subtle nod to recognize that I was even standing there.
Eventually the first person looked toward me, and combining boredom and annoyance finally asked me if I needed something.
I told them that two people had looked at me twice each without acknowledging my presence. That wasn't just bad service, it was failing at basic humanity.
The person looked at me as dulled eyed as if they were sedated and said "Ok." That's it. "Ok."
I understand it's hard to find good help sometimes, but maybe don't put someone without any interest in customer service or basic politeness under a sign that reads CONSULTATION.

This place plays music over internal speakers into the customer area, and these speakers even play ads. This is a needless accessibility barrier for autistic people and others, and annoys the majority of the population. It even preempts the use of headphones/earbuds while shopping. The speakers should be turned off.

I went to CVS in Evanston to buy a painkiller and eye drops. CVS had all the painkillers under lock, which made it inconvenient. I bought the CVS brand. The bill was for more than $60. A woman came to me and told me I could register at the CVS and get the promotions. I agreed. Then, she wanted me to enroll in the “extra care plus” membership, which has a monthly fee. I told her -no, I wouldn’t say I like this- when she finished the transaction, I realized she had put me in the program, so I called the 800 to cancel. A woman made me tell her all my information again, and instead of canceling, she told me to call in 30 minutes or go to the website. So I am charged for a membership I don't want, then I have to call to cancel and repeat all my info, and now I have to go online to cancel. What a lousy system to save a few dollars.

They have the worst- drive-thru pharmacy. Expect to wait in line for at least 30 minutes.
