I would also do zero stars because even though I have been a regular customer I requested a simple task that took 25 that took 15 minutes. They charge me $40 and when I returned with a coupon an undated coupon given to me by my real estate agent they refused to honor it. It had no expiration date, and I have lost patience and trust in this garage.

Definitely a zero star if I could. Went there to fix my passenger side front window. Found several shredded glasses in the door frame which make the window make cracky sound whenever it goes up or down. I was about to get a key in my backpack in my trunk. The guy name Pete went out angrily shouting at me and asking why does it take so long for me to check my car. I was like “dude, I paid 250for this. Why couldn’t I? Do you need a hug? Why so mad. Such a bad experience.

Doc Able is a reliable, courteous and highly trusted Evanston business. They replaced my steering issues and when a few months later the issue returned, they discovered the part they had ordered and installed was defective. They replaced it immediately, at no charge of course, and were extremely gracious throughout. I'm so pleased to have a trusted mechanic to help me get the most out of my aging Infinity QX50.

My first visit to this auto repair shop was cordial and very friendly from part of the lady at the front desk and I was very impressed with the service. The cost of the repair was reasonable, not as exaggerated as at other shops. They explained the repair of my vehicle in great detail. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs auto repair.

This was our first time at Doc Ables. We received an oil change at a very reasonable price and they gave the car a full inspection. All problems documented with pictures and I received a thorough explanation when I called, and they told me which things I had to do now and which things could wait. I am very pleased with my first experience here and will definitely be coming back.

I was looking to ship a vehicle to Massachusetts. I didn’t think they would care about me but they were very professional both over the phone and through the vehicle inspection. Not to mention the service estimate was very reasonable. I wish all independent shops operated this way and I wish I lived closer so I could give them more business!

What I like a great deal is process of digital photos of the problems, Before starting any work. After I requested a basic technical inspection…I realized how critical the work that was needed. Ball joints, steering and emissions! And Brakes. All documented with photos and sent to my email. The car runs great and stops much quicker. Thanks Doc Able’s.

I have been using Doc Able's services over the past number of years. Pete and his entire staff are a paradigm of the auto repair business. Very good service at reasonable prices. Not to mention the knowledge and honesty that is shown.
