Evanston Stitchworks is a lovely shop on Sherman Avenue with a bit of everything for makers and crafters. It features a beautiful fabric selection and a wall of yarns, plus embroidery designs, floss, patterns, fusible fleece, kits, books, and other odds and ends. The staff is kind, helpful, and pleasant. The owner is lovely, sweet, and a wonderful listener. This great little place offers fun events and workshops with knowledgeable instructors. It is a happy place and a wonderful resource for the sewing world, open on Sundays.
