I had a terrible customer service experience at this Marshalls location, particularly with two employees, Shamim and Faisal, who handled my return. It was clear they were unfamiliar with the store’s own return policy and were inconsistent in their statements, making the process unnecessarily confusing and frustrating. They insisted the return time frame was 30 days, and that is correct under normal circumstances. I will attach a picture of the updated return policy that can also be found online. Keep in mind, I bought these items October 17.
What made it worse was the lack of professionalism and respect. I felt humiliated by the way I was treated, which is unacceptable for any paying customer. Employees should prioritize resolving issues respectfully and consistently, but that was not the case here.
If you do visit this location, I strongly suggest avoiding Shamim and Faisal. Overall, this is not one of the better Marshalls stores, and I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Almost nothing worth buying. It’s all scraps. Marshalls used to have much more stuff. Perhaps it’s just this location, perhaps it’s the same everywhere else but it was a waste of time to go here. On a side note, both the dressing room person & the cashier were very nice.

U have to have ur own bag. U may not take the shopping cart to the parking lot. U can spend 500+ dollars in the store and they have no security to help u to get ur purchased goods to ur car safely. They say buy a 4$ bag ide have to buy 5+ bags an stil at that can't hold it all and go to my car safely. I'm not from the area just Googled the stores location and went no where does it state this b4 u purchase ur goods. Very upsetting to a person who doesn't live here and who this isn't a norm at all . Never seen this anywhere but this store. They have everything tagged with the theft alarm if ur so concerned maybe close why treat paying customers like thiefs won't be returning

I went into Marshall's today on Main and McCormick in Evanston. Marshalls is my FAVORITE go to store because of the clothes and prices. I was excited to shop for my interview tomorrow. I gathered a couple of items I wanted to try on, however when going to the fitting room there was no associate there and all the dressing rooms were open so I assumed I could go in. I was already halfway undressed when Annie the employee starts banging on the door like she was the police asking how many items I have . I said oh I'm sorry nobody was here as I was dressing to open the door and with the nastiest attitude she says well I'm here now. So I open the door and show her how many items I have. She stood outside guarding the door as if I was going to take off with the clothes when I was just trying to show my partner the outfit to see if it looked good or not. she turned around to look at me up and down with such a judge-mental face. I don't go to Marshall's to be treated in such manner. She seemed miserable and irritable but it's not my fault that she was not guarding her station the way she should have. People with attitudes like Annie should not be working in a customer service setting. I have managed various retail stores and have never spoken to a customer in that manner nor allowed my associates to speak to customers in that time . Annie needs A LOT more training with her customer service delivery if Marshall's wants to create clientele retention.
