I have been a consistent customer of Sky Nails because it’s near my house. Unfortunately over the last few years there have been myriad issues with the service. The most annoying is booking an appointment for two and being told only one service person is available. It makes a 45 minute visit into 1.5 hours. Or they leave you soaking for way too long and then mine your cuticles so your toes get infected. It happened today and this will be my last visit to Sky Nails- a poorly run business with disparite skill levels.

I’ve been here twice and sadly had only bad experiences. I went last week, which was my second visit, there was confusion about my manicure, which is fine, but here is my issue. I got a gel manicure (With removal of previous grown out acrylics) and they charged me $80. Every place I’ve been typically charges $80 for a full set of acrylics. They pretty much just painted my nails. The biggest issue isn’t even the price. My biggest problem is it’s been less than a week and the polish is coming off of all of them and they look like a mess. I would’ve never paid $80 for nails that lasted less than a full week. I’ve tried this place twice because they’re the closest salon to my home, but I will never be back

I have been going to Sky Nails for years. It is a women owned business. Soza and her staff are lovely. If you haven’t been there check them out!

I've had good and bad experiences at Sky nails. I feel like it's hit or miss. The last 2 visits were not great so I just won't be wasting money getting my nails done anymore.

Infection!!!!!
not even 24 hrs and my nail is purple and bleeding. trying to take the acrylic nail off but the nail is stuck to my skin! SOZA PUT ACRYLIC ON MY SKIN WITH THE NAIL. I HAVE TO GO TO THE ER TO REMOVE IT.
I had a pedicure done. And they use the same gloves for everyone. Which super unsafe! Also I got acrylic nails and they are not even, I asked for French but the lines aren’t straight it’s so messy. I was cut a lot by the drill. The staff was nice but it’s super unsanitary. I used to go sky nails when I was younger and I loved it. But are now understaffed and it just isn’t the same! Won’t be going back.
WONT BE GOING BACK AT ALL. THANKS FOR THE INFECTION RIGHT BEFORE I LEAVE OFF TO COLLEGE. NOW I WILL BE GOING TO COLLEGE WITH NO PINKY NAIL!!!!

I have been coming here regularly since they opened twelve years ago! How have I not ever written a review? This is my go to mani/pedi place. I am so glad they survived the pandemic. This isn't one of those "get you in, get you out" salons with five TVs blaring different shows. They do take walk-ins and even when they are busy, you can still get in with a short wait. If you prefer a nail salon with an efficient but calm; busy but friendly vibe, this is the place for you. It is very clean, modern and comfortable. Their manis and pedis both include firm but gentle massages of your arms, hands, legs and feet. These massages are longer and more thorough than what you usually get at other places, these women know what they are doing. There is no upselling. When you get a mani, there is a complimentary neck and shoulder massage. Great color selection of OPI and Essie, no-chip and dip manis/pedis. They usually have a movie or TV series playing while you get your services. The ones you find on a rainy day and you happily watch the whole thing. It truly feels like a great break in your day. They also do waxing services, chair massage and regular massage. Their prices are reasonable, tips are cash only. Highly recommend.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!Save your money, the service was terrible 5 technicians after and 2.5 hours for a simple no chip is way to unprofessional. I had cuts every where in my toes and it looked rushed and messy.Services: Pedicure

I got a fantastic pedicure here, but my no-chip manicure was terrible. I had my finger nails polished on a Friday afternoon and by the next Wednesday, less than a week later, half of them were coming off. I've had regular manicures that lasted longer. :(

I walked in with my daughters to get us all mani/pedis. They seemed extremely apprehensive and asked if we had appointments. I stated no, the one staff stated we needed to come back at a different time. Another stated we needed to come back. I didn’t hear her initially, she said “oh we have a big party coming in.” I said okay thank you and left.We knew they just didn’t want to service us, I called the salon 10 mins later to schedule the same service I walked in to receive and was told I could come right away.
